| Shane McMahon's "Broiled Smackdown Scampi" |
| 6 Tablespoons (3/4 stick) unsalted Butter, at room temperature |
| 1/4 cup Olive Oil |
| 1 Tablespoon minced Garlic |
| 1 Tablespoon minced Onion |
| 1 Tablespoon minced Shallots |
| 2 tablespoons snipped fresh chives |
| 1/4 teaspoon paprika |
| Salt to taste |
| Freshly ground black pepper to taste |
| 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined |
| 1. Preheat Broiler |
| 2. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the shrimp. Blend thoroughly. |
| 3. Toss the shrimp in the mixture until thoroughly coated. |
| 4. Broil shrimp as close to the flame as possible for 2 minutes on each side, or until pink. |
| 5. Sereve immediately. |
| VARIATION: Here's the smackdown part Sprinkle some extra garlic either into the marinade sauce or directly on the shrimp. |
