If you have ever been to Brisbane you would know there isn't really to many places to go and listen to great Jazz. So in Melbourne there seems to be quite a few places to go and listen to Jazz. I have only been to one Jazz bar in Melbourne, this being 'Bennetts Lane'. I was quite surprised when I went, as all it was a single room, but the best thing was that everyone was into the Jazz music not talking and I thought I saw two other people other than our table that was drinking alochol. The place is strictly for the Jazz professional, you can smoke outside in the court yard. As long as you get a table the cover charge is worth it, as you are so into the music you are just looking ahead. Try these places, they are great...
