Find out how to find a place to play and enjoy social basketball or find the sites to find your favourite basketball team.
Places to go in Melbourne are:
- Melbourne University: Here you can join in with others on the outside court on the
weekends or play on a week day in their indoor courts. You have to be a member first, and that is as easy as going to the counter and getting a card to join
- Albert Park: Here there are about 10 indoor basketball courts and all are in use most of the weekend. It costs $3.40 for the day
and has games for the novice to the experienced. Most of the games are just there to have fun. And that is
what basketball should be about - just having some fun.
- Others: There are other basketball courts at most schools and universities around town, but I
found that the two places above were the best of them. So please get out there and enjoy the game.
