I have been building model kits for more than 15 years... perhaps even longer than I can remember. Having experienced a wide genre of model kits, I like to think of myself as an "adventurous" kit-builder. I am always on a lookout for interesting subjects to work on, especially those that require some conversion and scratch-building. As much as I like my little venture to help pay for my bills, I hope to get full satisfaction from building model kits. My work being appreciated by collectors will definitely be a big morale booster for me!
I now concentrate more on 1/43rd Formula-One cars. Some friends & collectors often joke that I'm always involved in "non-commercial" subjects. It is true that Ferrari, McLaren and even Porsche models are more appealing to collectors (especially in Singapore) I can't help but find some subjects simply too irresistable. Tyrrell "X-Wing", Prost and some classic F1 cars of the 70's are just some examples of subjects I find interesting & beautiful. Perhaps being the one who has touched every curve of the models makes me more appreciative of their beauty. Seeing how car designs have evolved through the decades is a thrilling experience too. I hope you share my enthusiasm.
