To be discharged by order of Major U.S. Grant
Martin C. Waggoner (Private) of Captain John W. Watts Company (G) of the Seventh (7th) Regiment of Mo. Vol, Inf.,
was enlisted by Martin L. Watts , of the Seventh Regiment of Mo. Vol. at Rolla, Missouri on the First day of September 1861, to serve three years; he was born in Coshocton County in the State of Ohio, is Thirty Two (32) years of age, Five feet, nine inches high, Light complexion, Hazel eyes, Red hair, and by occupation if listed as a Farmer. During the last two months said soldier has been unfit for duty sixty days.
Station: Pittsburg Landing, Tennessee

I certify, that I have carefully examined the said Martin C. WAGGONER (Private) of Captain John W. Watts Company, and find him incapable of performing the duties of a soldier because, he has had Intermittent Fever for several months, and is at present very much emaciated and incapable of performing the duties of a soldier.
