Multiple what? Exploring Multiple Search Engines |
| I. | Continue exploring subject searching and compare your results using multiple search engines. |
| Follow these steps to record and compare results. |
| 1. | Before beginning a subject search, make a list of 4 key words/descriptors that are relevant your research questions developed in Module Two. |
| 2. | While searching, keep a record of 4 subject descriptors used and list the results or “hits”. A graphic organizer is supplied to record information. |
| 3. | The participant will continue exploring search techniques while using at least three different search engines. |
| II. | After completing this activity, compare and contrast three different techniques employed and share results with other members of the class. The compare and contrast should include an opinion on preferences of search engines. |
