It had to happen sooner or later.... The original seed for these wonderfully hardy poppies was purchased years and years ago from 3 commercial seed catalogs.... before I learned just how many seeds they threw every year. Our honeybees love them even if I think they're one step away from "invasive weed". Since they're some of the only flowers to bloom early in the season I always leave a few but a variegated version hasn't shown up again..... yet.
