I walked into the house after school one day. It was the December of my grade 9 school year. I was about to call, but I heard my mother on the phone so I just ran up to the room I shared with my older sister.
I have a lot of brothers and sisters. 6 total, together there are 7 of us. Let me introduce you to them. We�ll go from the oldest to the youngest, starting with Scott. He�s 21 and was born in 1980, May 16th. to be exact. He goes to university in Toronto. I think he may become a doctor in the future, But I�m not too sure as I don�t talk to him that often anymore.
Next we have Natalie and Jason. They�re twins, and 17 years old. Born on August 4th. 1984. There�s not really too much to them. They go to the same high school here in Riverdale, Ontario. It�s the same high school that I go to.
Krystal, whom everyone calls Krys, is 15. She was supposed to be born on December 29th. in 1985 but she was a few days late, totally missing December and going straight for January 2nd. I�m thinking it�s the reason why she�s never on time. She goes to Riverdale High too.
Next is me, Kenna Ryleigh, But you can call me Kennie. I turned 14 on November 28th. I was born in 1987.
Next in line is Nicholas. He was born in 1991 on December 10th. Naturally he doesn�t go to high school.
The youngest of us is Bryan. He�s such a cutie sometimes. But most of the time he is a brat. He was a lot more cute when he was younger. He�s 7 years old, born in 1994. His birthday is on September 24th. Well that�s pretty much it for my siblings. Now you can meet my parents!
My mom, Katherine is 39 years old. She was 18 when she had Scott, 21 when Nat and Jason came, 23 when Krys arrived, had me when she was 25, with Nicky she was 29 and with Bry she was 32. My dad�s name is Jake.
My mom and dad are divorced. I don�t like my dad too much because he walked out on us not even a year after Bry was born. We haven�t seen him since. Nicky barely remembers him and Bry doesn�t at all. It�s kinda sad, when you think about it.
When I got to my room, I dropped my bag on the floor and picked up the phone. It was supposed to be Krys, Nat�s, Jason�s and my phone line. Nat and Jason had a phone in their room too. When I picked it up there was no dial tone.
�MOM!!� I yelled coming out of the room
�Yes, Angel?� She answered, as I made my way down the stairs and into the kitchen where she was still sitting talking on the phone
�What happened to the phone upstairs??� I questioned
�I got it disconnected today,� she answered as she hung up the phone
�Why??� I asked
�I�m sorry baby girl, but it was too much money,� She replied. I could honestly tell that she was sorry because of the look in her eyes. I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her.
�It�s ok,� I murmured into her ear.
