The opening chords of Mandy Moore�s Crush played through the headphones. When Kristen sang her nervousness was apparent in her voice. The song seemed to go on forever.
�Thank you,� Kevin said �How do you think you did?�
Kristen shifted nervously and ran a hand through her hair.
�I think I did ok,� Kristen answered �I was nervous but I think I did ok,�
�Alright. You can just wait in the other room,� Jacob said
�Thanks,� Kristen said before leaving quickly,�

�Just go in there and do your thing,� Beth tried to calm down Kenna who was making herself nervous.
�Easy for you to say Beth,� She said �You have the most awesome voice so you don�t have to worry!� Bethany looked at Kenna.
�Ok. Listen.� She said �When we go in there we�re going to wow them. They�re going to want to pick us right away,� Kenna looked at her new friend skeptically.
�I wish that were true,� Kenna said. Beth didn�t talk for a few minutes.
�What are you going to sing?� Beth asked
�Sugar Jones probably,� Kenna answered �A little bit of heaven I think,�
�Now what should I sing?�
�Something by Mariah Carey. Hero maybe?� Kenna replied �That�s what I was going to sing for the first audition,� Bethany started to laugh but was interrupted by her name being called. Bethany went into the other room and emerged less than 15 minutes later.
�How�d it go?� Kenna asked
�It was nerve wracking,� Bethany answered. The two girl were silent until finally the last name called was Kenna�s. As planned she sang the Sugar Jones song. Kenna emerged from the room about 5 minutes before Ashley, Brian, Dan and Nick.

�I think we should take her and her,� Kevin said pointing to Kristen�s picture and that of another girl. Jacob shook his head.
�She�s good,� He pointed to Alexandria.
�Let�s get them both,� Howie said
�Alright,� Kevin reluctantly agreed �But I still think we should go with her,� He pointed to the picture of the �other girl� he previously pointed to.
�Let�s just go and tell them,� Jacob said as he walked towards the other room
�Were only going to take two of you,� Kevin started he looked down to the two forms in his hand �Kristen and Alexandria,� The girls both smiled and thanked the judges quickly. Kristen had a hard time keeping in a scream and Alexandria�s smile was a bright one.

�I gotta call Josh,� Kenna said
�Who�s Josh?� Bethany asked
�My boyfriend,� Kenna answered �I have to let him know I�m not going to be home tonight,�
�I should call my family too,� Bethany said as the girl walked into their hotel room

�It went ok,� AJ answered
�What about in Orlando?� Kevin asked again
�No one was suspicious or anything,� Dan answered
�That�s good,� Kevin said �Now how many people do we have from each city?�
�66 here,� Erik said after a few minutes
�54,� Nick came through
�Alright,� Jacob said �We�ve got 63 from LA,�
�So we�re all going to bring the forms for the girls to Orlando tomorrow?� Trevor asked
�That�s the plan,� Howie replied
�Cool,� Nick said �Are we finished?�
�Yeah,� Kevin answered �We�re done,� They all simultaneously hung up the phones.
