Kenna dialed familiar numbers on a pay phone in the hotel lobby. It rang a few times before someone picked up.
"Hello," a male voice said
"Hey Jeremy," Kenna said "Is your brother there?"
"Yeah hold on," Jeremy answered. Kenna could hear him yelling for Josh in the background.
"Hey," Kenna heard Josh�s voice
"Josh!," Kenna said
"Kennie!" Josh replied "Did you just get there?"
"No," Kenna answered "I just auditioned,"
"How did it go?" Josh asked
"I got a call back," Kenna said, smiling
"You�re smiling aren�t you?"
"Yeah, How�d you know?"
"I can hear it in your voice," Josh replied. Kenna laughed. "Do you know when you�ll be home?" Josh asked
"Well if I don�t make it tomorrow then I�ll still be home tomorrow night, but if I do make it, then I�ll just stay here and wait for my phone call,"
"Alright," Josh said "I miss you already,"
"Me too," Kenna replied "But I gotta go, I still haven�t called Farah,"
"I love you," Josh said
"Love you too," Kenna said before hanging up. She picked the receiver back up and proceeded to call her best friend. The conversation went a lot like the previous one had gone. Like Josh, Farah wondered when Kenna would return home. The call had to be short because there was a little bit of a line waiting to use the phone.

"How did the auditions go over there??" Kevin asked 9 other guys over the phone
"The ones here were good," Brian said "Although there were some people there just to see if we would be there,"
"Same over here," Jacob said. All 10 guys were on the phone, talking about the days auditions.
"Here too," Trevor said "A lot of the girls voices probably couldn�t cut it,"
Everyone could hear Brian sigh over the phone. "How many do we have?" He asked
"umm...we picked up 143 out of about 2000 here," Erik said
"hold on, let me check," Howie said. There was a few moments of silence before he returned. "114," he said
"164 here in Orlando," Nick said
"So that �s 421 out of a few thousand," Brian said "Not too bad,"
"So did any of them notice the cameras?," Nick asked
"Not really," Aj said "And if they did we told them we were just taping so we could see the auditions again later,"
"I still can�t believe we�re coming out with another band show," Kevin said
"Relax Kev," Brian said "It can�t be all bad,"
"Just try to get a single out right after the people who get in are revealed to the public," Jacob said "That way they can actually be entertainers, not t.v personalities,"

Bethany walked into the restaurant of the hotel she was staying in. She was happy about the auditions and showed it on her face. She found a table and sat in it. A few minutes later she heard a voice from behind her.
"Hey," the voice said "You mind if I sit with you?" Bethany looked back and seen Kenna standing there.
"Sure," Bethany answered "Kenna right?"
"Yeah," Kenna replied "But you can call me Kennie,"
"I didn�t know you were staying here," Bethany said as Kenna sat down
"Yeah," Kenna answered "I couldn�t afford much more,"
Bethany laughed "Me either,"
"It doesn�t help much that we have to stay and wait for a phone call after tomorrow," Kenna muttered while looking at a menu
"I know," Bethany said "I could definitely use that extra money,"
"We should just room together," Kenna sighed
"What?" Bethany asked
"Nothing," Kenna answered "I just said that we should room together. I was just thinking out loud. I tend to do that sometimes,"
"We could you know," Bethany answered "And just split the price,"
"It would save us some money," Kenna answered
"Yeah," Bethany agreed "We should just go for it,"
"You sure?" Kenna asked
"Of course," Bethany smiled

"Hello," a voice came over the phone
"It�s Alex," Alex said "I need a ride,"
"Hey!" Robert said "How�d the auditions go?"
"I got a call back," Alexandria answered. There was a hint of excitement in her voice.
"That�s awesome," Robert stated "I�ll be there in 20 minutes and you can tell me more,"
"Alright thanks," Alex replied before hanging up and looking at a magazine.

"I�m back!!" Kristen said as she walked into the hotel room she shared with her friend Leah. They were on vacation, taking a break from Florida. Kristen had heard about the auditions when pulling into the hotel parking lot.
"In here," a voice called from bathroom. Kristen kicked off her shoes and sat on the bed. A few seconds later Leah jumped in the bed beside her.
"What happened?" Leah asked
"I got a call back," Kristen answered
"That�s great!" Leah exclaimed "Were they there?"
"Just Kevin and Howie," Kristen answered
"mmm...Kevin," Her friend exclaimed
"I don�t think I would have made it if Brian was there," Kristen sighed "I�m sort of thankful he wasn�t,"
"Weren�t Kevin and Howie nerve wracking?"
"Yeah," Kristen replied "But Brian�s my favorite,"
"So you have to go back tomorrow?"
"Yeah," Kristen said "If I make it through tomorrow there�s one more day then I have to wait for the phone to ring,"
Leah laughed "I can�t believe you got a call back. That�s so awesome,"

"Hey mom," Alicia said over the phone. She was back in her hotel room.
"Hey hun," Alicia�s mom said "How�d you do?"
"I made to round two," Alicia said "I�m so happy,"
Alicia�s mom sighed. She didn�t exactly approve of Alicia chasing after her dream of being an entertainer. She would have rather had her going to college to be a doctor or something more realistic.
"I think you�re setting yourself up for disappointment," Alicia�s mother said
This time it was Alicia who sighed.
"I�m going to do this mom," She said "Weather you like it or not. You�re going to turn on the T.V and you�re gonna see me in a music video,"
"I have to go," Her mother said "I love you,"
"I love you too mom," Alicia said before hanging up. She knew she could count on her mom to put a damper on her happy mood.
