This is the first quilt I ever tried my hand at. It is a nine-patch quilt with a border of pieced children holding hands. The boys trousers are actually my favourite pair of jeans from when I was a kid. I got the pattern out of the second edition of Quits! Quilts!! Quilts!!!. I machine-pieced it and I am still in the process of hand-quilting it. Since it is a queen size quilt, it is taking me a long time. In the nine-patch squares, I am just quilting diagonal lines, but in the white squares, I am qulting roses. |

This is the quilt that I made for my sister's high school graduation. I finished it the morning of her graduation after staying up all hours the previous couple of nights. It went through many design changes before I chose this pattern. It is a Flying Goose Chase. I used a lot of blue because it is Meagan's favourite color. This is the first quilt I finished, and she was shocked when she received it. (I kept it a secret from everyone in my family.) |

This is a picture of a photo quilt that I made for my Grandfather's 85th Birthday (with the last minute help of my mom). |
