| Conner's 3rd birthday . . . A week before we told him that his birthday was coming up and this year he was actually able to count down each day and get excited for it. A couple days beforehand we asked him what he wanted for dinner on his birthday. Here's how the conversation went: mom: Conner, what do you want for dinner on your birthday conner: (no answer) mom: do you want chicken nuggets? conner: um, nope. mom: do you want peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? conner: nope. mom: do you want a hamburger and fries? conner: nope -- long pause -- conner: um, I want brownies. So brownies it was! We also threw in some chicken nuggets and fries, but Conner got exactly what he wanted for his birthday dinner. With cake afterwards as well! |
| After dinner and the opening of presents we had a few friends over for cake. The boys had a great time running and around the house, being noisy, and wearing their party hats. |
