'The Legacy Continues...'
The scene opens somewhere in the giant city of New York, the second capital to American, where business continues to thrive and stockholders are the richest men around. But however, we fade into a broken down home in the Bronx, somewhere in a rundown alleyway where the shouts of men outside rapping and such can be heard. The cries of children playing also echo in the broken down house while we look inside the small two bedroom flat which is covered with graffiti and such.
Looking around, we slowly realize that this is a drug house. Sitting on a destroyed couch are two men who have obviously been taking drugs and are passed out. On a laid out mattress, another one is injecting a drug into himself via a syringe and while we travel through, we can hear a couple having sex in the nearby small toilet. But since we have no interest in this, we don't investigate. However, the scene quickly changes to a gigantic man smoking a joint in the kitchen.
A few gasps can be heard in the other room of someone entering the flat and the large figure pokes his head out in his drugged up state to notice that there is a person staring back at him. This person is Jeremy Cundiff, and the gigantic figure is Travis Williams, a former member of the Nicky Mills crime family and his codename being 'Smith'. Cundiff is wearing a pair of jeans and a UWA tee shirt, due to his debut in the United Wrestling Alliance. Travis on the other hand, is wearing a Metallica tee shirt but with torn dirty jeans for his bottoms. Cundiff stares at the man he thought was dead but has come to terms with the fact that he is still alive.
Jeremy Cundiff:
Me and you need to talk.
Travis manages to get himself out of his drugged state for a second to notice that his closest brother like figure is there.
Travis Williams:
Jeremy? Is...that you?
Yes. What are you doing here, man?
Kent.......he's disappeared. And I dont have anything else to live for.
Don't say that.
Say what? I'm right, aren't I?
So you waste your time with a bunch of drugged up ghetto bitches and you wait to die?
Of coarse, the Williams brother doesn't respond with words and laughs at the comment leaving Cundiff to swat away the joint that he was smoking, angrily. It's not like Jeremy to swat away a joint. Travis looks in shock and is lost for words while Jeremy looks angered with what he is seeing in front of him.
I never thought I would see this. The man I waited on in my wrestling career now nothing but a pathetic loser.
Fuck you, man... I lost everything.
Yeah? And you don't think I'm feeling like goddamn roses right now? Huh?
What are you doing here, Jeremy?
Came here to get YOU the fuck out of here. Despite betraying me for...him... we're still almost brothers, man. Don't even forget that.
There's nothing to go for now. Nothing. I have nothing but money now. And it don't mean shit anymore.
What do you want me to do? I'm here to help you. If you don't want my help...then say. But right now, I'm all you have.
Bullshit.
I'm hurting too, you know. How do you think it's been to know that not one person gives a shit about my best friend's death? That it's old news and everyone is moving on with their lives without a spare thought.
Travis says nothing and begins to cough, letting all the smoke escape from his lungs as it becomes almost like a giant fog in the air of the small apartment. Travis obviously lit up another smoke which we didnt notice. Cundiff snatches the smoke from him and takes a giant puff of it and hands it back to Travis, who smiles and answers him.
That man was my boss and the only thing I could depend on. Now he's dead. And there's nothing I can do about it.
There is. By getting the hell out of this...place.
The two men are interrupted by a tall black frizzy haired fellow who is holding a joint in his hand and breathes out all of the smoke before he speaks.
Joint Smoker:
Travis... ma homeboy. Take some of this shit. I call it...'Mad Holmes'. Eyyy, it's the legend himself, Jeremy Cundiff. Hey, want to have a smoke in ma crib, homie?
Cundiff turns his attention to the joint smoker and taking one look at him, begins to laugh.
First of all, whoever cut your hair needs to die a slow and painful death.
The joint smoker's face turns white with shock while Jeremy continues.
Second of all...dawg...I aint your homie. I ain't nobody's homie, you hear me? Unless you like gripping the balls of your fellow man, I aint into that shit. And thirdly, who the fuck calls a joint 'Mad Holmes'? What kind of crappy dumb ass name is THAT?
Whooooh...chill out, man. You like...outta this world.
Gimmie the doobie, you cunt.
Jeremy snatches the joint and smokes it. He looks at it in disgust before throwing it back into the joint smoker's eye. As the man screams in pain and shouts expletives at Cundiff, who lets a smile escape his lips.
That's what you get for messing with drugs. And you will never be me, bitch. So until you get some good shit gathered, don't ever approach me again.
Uh.... nice going, but I aint going anywhere, Jeremy. Not now.
Ugh, I can't believe you. I came ALL the way here to convince you to leave, and you tell me that you ain't 'going anywhere'?
Look, Jeremy. I'm trying to cope here. Just.. give me a few days.
Promise me you'll talk to me then.
Okay, man. Now leave me alone while I smoke this.
Cundiff laughs and stepping over the joint smoker, who has passed out from the pain, he begins to make his way out of the apartment. Travis begins to smoke the rest of the joint as the scene fades to black.
Unknown #1:
Bullshit. How do you know that he's dead?
Unknown #2:
I'm not stupid. He fell in the water when he shot him.
That doesn't mean he's actually dead, does it?
His body was found. Isn't that enough?
The scene opens in a dark alleyway somewhere in New York, but we cannot identify the people talking. One of them has a rather raspy cigarette voice while the other person sounds like a woman.
Vincent, do I look like an idiot? The man happened to be a complete and utter psychopath. If you carried it out, then you have a lot to answer for.
From...?
He had business partners. Friends. Your public enemy number one now.
Julia...Julia...Julia.
Yes, Vince?
You are a silly girl. Ever since you were young, I always took care of you. Your father was in the can, and I protected you and gave you everything. But you really surprise me.
What are you talking about?
That piece of shit scum deserved to die, and instead you come here and say that I'm 'public enemy number one'.
I'm looking out for you, you silly old fool.
Julia, do you know what that man did to me? I was humiliated by him. When my CIA friends whacked his brother, I didn't think he would take out everyone they were ever associated with. My son was hanged and betrayed by his own bodyguards! When he took matters into his own hands... he paid with his life. My friends... they are all dead. I survived, my dear Julia. I survived.
You always were a tough old bastard, Vincent. No matter what they threw in front of you, you took it head on. But you've won the fight. It's all over. But your still 'dead'. So what will you do?
Such trivial matters, dear Julia. It doesn't matter.
If you want money, I can give it to you.
No. But I must ask you something.
Yes?
Why did you betray me for that piece of shit?
'Julia' looks rather shocked when 'Vincent' says this and she can't believe her ears.
Betray you?
Yes, my dear Julia. You betrayed our family.
Fuck you, Vince! How could you ask me such a thing?
Because I know it to be true. Your father was always good to you. And I knew your dad for a very long time. But you disgraced him the moment you sold my family out. MY FAMILY!
How...?
When Jonny and that scumbag decided to kill my family, I thought of every person to want to betray me. And then your name popped into my mind. Because I stopped you from marrying that Turkish fool. So you decide to take revenge on me...
'Julia' is silent and doesn't utter a word. Instead, a grin appears on the face of 'Vincent' as he continues.
Yes... you were sleeping with the man who was about to kill me. One of his whores, were you? You told him everything about me, our plan to get rid of him. So it was your fault that my family was slaughtered...
Why would I sell you out? Because of a misunderstanding? Sorry, Vince. Your wrong.
I dont think so, Julia. Goodbye, sweetheart.
'Vincent' attempts to pull something out of his pocket but stops when 'Julia' is holding something to his head.
Gotcha!
Suddenly, a figure appears behind 'Vincent' and holds something in the shape of a gun at Julia.
Bastard...I knew you'd have company.
Look who's got the gun now. Julia...it pains me to do this, but you have to die. Nicky is dead, and now you will too. Kill her.
You won't get away with this, Vincent. Everyone will be looking for me. Your going to be dead fast. Go fu...
A silenced bullet goes straight through the forehead of 'Julia' after pulling the trigger. 'Julia' hits the concrete ground of the alleyway while 'Vincent' turns to the tall figure and speaks. We don't know whether the killer is a female or male.
Good. Our business is done.
Unknown Hitman:
Is it safe to assume my time with you is over? I want to get back to my life.
Just one thing. Does *name bleeped out* know anything about all of this?
No. Don't worry about it. I know *name bleeped out* wont suspect a thing.
Very good. And that Jeremy?
Pfft. Are you serious? He might be angry, but he wouldn't actually go to the lengths of revenge. He's too weak.
Isn't it true he was partnered with Mills once?
Yes. But Nicky was the tougher out of the two. It wouldn't rub off him. Jeremy just wants his daily fix.
But if he becomes trouble, then you have to get rid of him.
I understand. Well...it's good to have known you, Don. You have my cell phone number if you want to call me. Bon voyage, huh?
The figure begins to walk out of the alley while 'Vincent' watches after him. He then turns to the body which a large pool, seemingly blood, is forming around her head. Smiling, he too makes his way out of the alleyway and has become out of sight as the scene fades to black.
