The Attacks

*Note*: The following is not 'viewed' in any way, shape or form.

The scene resumes over the early morning sky of Las Vegas, which is still practically busy and people are going back to their hotels and are ending their gambling sessions and driving or walking home in the lit up state of legal gambling. We are currently looking over the Golatti owned 'The Venetian' casino, which is being emptied out for it's morning break before it opens up once again in the night time.

The sky is completely clouded over thickly but then we switch to a dark green U.S Army helicopter which is travelling through Las Vegas in the direction towards the casino. The doors on the helicopter are closed shut however we then go into the helicopter, which is packed with various items and weapons. Two men sitting on either side of each other are wearing hooded masks to prevent identification and wearing all black clothing to merge with the masks.

We know these men as Nicky Mills and 'Smith', who we last saw gearing up for ammunition and weapons after we heard that a speedboat carrying the narcotics from Cuba was completely destroyed. This of coarse, was action taken by the Golatti's after they objected to a new plan Mills had for all the major drug traffickers in America.

To prevent a full scale war after the Golatti's made their declaration of war, they are going along with them and so this would mean instant death for Mills, who has decided to attack the casino owned by the Golatti's to take out the source of hatred. Silence fills the helicopter only for the sound guns being loaded. The pilot of the helicopter then picks up his radio and speaks through it to the two men sitting at the base of the helicopter, preparing themselves for instant war.

Pilot: We're nearly there, fellas. Get ready.

Nicky is filling up clips of M4's and shoving them in his pocket so he can instantly use them when inside the Casino. 'Smith' is examining the giant samurai sword and rubbing his hand across it, as if liking what he is feeling and his finger touches the tip of the sharp blade. Mills looks at his machine gun to confirm that it's ready to go. He looks up at his right hand man and begins laughing before speaking.

Nicky Mills: Tell me, WHY of all things did you pick a sword? This aint the Matrix, remember? I cant see myself as Keanu Reeves either.

'Smith': I told you.

Yeah, but I just cant my head around it. Oh well, if you die in there, don't say I didn't warn you.

Don't say that. Please, don't.

Makes you nervous? Smith, we're about to go into a warzone here. THAT is nerve wrecking, but you see, I've been here before. This is the best time, when your going in there. Ah man, this is going to be so sweet when we kill those Golatti fucks.

Mills, how come we don't get picked up by anybody? We've basically travelled from California to Las Vegas in this helicopter, and it's taken nearly five hours to get here at full speed. Don't you think we would have been seen?

We're U.S Army, according to anyone watching us. They might look back and wonder, but they aint gonna trail it back. Not to us, anyway.

What makes you say that?

Can you see a professional wrestler being a terrorist?

I see your point. But those guns...man, you'd be screwed if the cops found that.

No. They're legally owned. But they're stolen from the U.S Army, yeah. So is this helicopter.

How the hell did you do that?

Because I'm too smart for my own good, Smith.

Both men are interrupted as 'The Venetian' casino is seen in all it's glory even though the morning fog almost prevents proper sight. The building is very tall in height and large in width with office like windows standing out, a giant fountain at the front spraying it's water upwards to go with the 'relaxed' flow of the area.

The lights are not seen however, because of the current weather. The helicopter slowly makes a descent towards the top of the building, and the roof is shown. It is large enough for a helicopter to land on and a door can be seen, which is probably the entryway back to the casino from the room. The helicopter begins to make a slow descent and eventually makes a full stop, and the doors slowly slide open. 'Smith' and Mills then look at each other and both of them nod as they realise what is about to happen as they literally step into hell itself.

Ready?

Ready. Let's do this.

Nicky swings his head around towards the pilot of the helicopter and shouts out to him.

Yo man, stick around and make sure you come and get us.

Just give us a shout with the radio and I'll come fetch you guys. Listen, the others are asking for you to blow the safe. They'll be here in around half an hour, so you guys have that time to take out any witnesses and such in the casino.

Wait, what? You mean it's a hotel as well?

But they're closed today for some reason. You know why, right? I think this was the day they were going to attack you.

Okay, good. Hey, What are the others using to get here?

Beats me. But don't worry about that. Just worry about taking out the Golatti's. But isnt Robert Colitri the main option?

Yeah, but I'm going to burn that place to the ground once we've taken the money out of it.

What?! You have to be shitting me, right? How the hell are you gonna do that?

The only way I know how. Smith, shut up and quit complaining. This is going to go off without a hitch. Alright. Let's go.

Nicky exits the helicopter and makes his way towards the door. 'Smith' begins to follow and the two men sneak their way into the casino as the scene slowly fades to darkness.

The scene reopens at the bottom floor of 'The Venetian' casino, which is nearly completely empty except for the remaining Golatti family members and security. The rest of the floors are the hotels but are empty because the casino is closed for the day, but the ground floor is covered with gangsters using the casino's and the security guards patrolling it up and down.

We cut to CCTV footage of the two assailants making their way down the staircases, and then to the actual room of the casino security centre where the guards have picked up on this intrusion and one of them picks up a telephone nearby and pressing a number, then holds the receiver to his ear. The person on the other line has picked up, because the guards begins to speak fluently, but with a hint of panic in his voice.

Security Guard: Mr Colitri, two men have broken into the casino and are making their way down quickly. They seem to be heavily armed, sir...

Listening into the unheard conversation, the guard then makes a sign to the other guard, who continues to look at the CCTV footage of the two intruders nearly reaching the bottom floor, and then looks at another piece of footage where the two intruders are making their way towards the security room.

guard who is on the telephone then notices the look on his colleges face and understands what is about to happen. Putting the phone down and pointing to the door, the two men then take their pistols from their holsters and point it towards the door, awaiting the two intruders. Nothing happens, but then a dropping of something metal is heard in the security room, and both men look around for the sound, but both men collapse as a cloud of gas forms in the room, and both men struggle for breath before dropping to the floor.

The gangsters have obviously understood what is going, because they are drawing their weapons and are quickly running to find the two men who have broken into the security room.

A fat grey haired man is seen with a cigar in hand shouting to his bodyguards while he is being escorted to the parking lot, probably to escape the casino. However, the two large bodyguards and Colitri stop when gunfire is heard, and the piercing screams of men quickly echo over the bottom floor of the casino, which is followed by more loud gunfire which startles all three men.

We look to the entrance of the casino, where the Golatti members are having a shootout with one of the gunmen, who takes cover behind the reception desk. He looks around for his partner, who is nowhere to be seen. Suddenly however, the large man is seen drawing his samurai sword and begins swinging it at the gangsters.

The blade pierces the chest of one of them and blood begins to squirt out of his chest while a look of terror in his eyes is quickly stopped when the large man takes the blade out of his chest and using his right hand, swings it with full strength at an approaching gangster, and in a sickening sight, his head is nearly cut completely off but is still attached to his neck and it even makes the other gunman cringe at the look of such a thing.

The man falls to the floor immediately and it's obvious he is dead, while the person who had his chest pierced with the sword tries to fight the large gunman, who laughs and then roaring loudly, thrusts the sword blade into the neck of the gangster, who falls to the ground, a pool of blood forming around all the dead men.

The other gangsters are meanwhile trading gunfire with the other gunman, who is firing his machine gun at the gang of them. The large gunman takes his sword and the other gangsters then turn their attention to him, three of them remaining as one of them has been shot by the machine gun firing gunman, the bullets completely piercing his chest and a shot to the head confirms his death. The large assailant then takes a run at the men, who go to fire their weapons, but are taken aback in shock when the large man draws his sword and takes a large swing at the entire group, who all dive for cover.

One of them however, is hit by the blade in the leg, where the bottom half of his leg is no more, and has been cut completely off. The man then screams in pain but is silenced when the large assailant has the handle in both hands, with one hand on top of the other, and pushes the sword in a downward spiral towards his heart, where the man tries to take a breath but his breathing has stopped.

The towering killer then disappears towards the parking lot, the last place we saw Robert Colitri and his bodyguards. Meanwhile, the other gunman is getting the better of the other gangsters, and one by one, they are all making mistakes which lead to their death. Their attention however, is taken when more of the Golatti members come via the restaurant and begin firing all their guns at the same time towards the gunmen, the other one still taking cover behind the reception desk. One of the gunman slams his foot against the desk in frustration.

FUCK! HOW MANY OF YOU ARE THERE?!

He quickly stands up and looks at the sight of dead gangsters, their bodies and blood spread all across the reception area. The gunman exchanges fire with the gangsters, but quickly withdraws when he realizes he is possibly outnumbered. Moving his head out of the reception desk and looking at the reception area, the large gunman is nowhere to he seen. His anger is obvious and he looks inside his pocket for a grenade, and finds out.

He throws it in the direction of the gangsters, who take cover when they realize what the gunman has thrown, the explosion taking a giant chunk out of the wall and killing one of the gangsters who was still in the area of the grenade. However, all of their attention is diverted towards the parking lot because a roaring of an engine is heard from the direction of the parking lot, and the gangsters look at the flight of stairs which lead towards it. Already, the gunman has taken notice of this and the aroma of anticipation is in the air.

Oh....shit.

The gunman begins laughing when the revelation of what is coming up the parking lot staircase and where the large gunman went is seen, and the gangsters fire at the towering man, who is riding a large motorcycle and has the samurai sword in one hand, and driving the motorcycle with the other, he accelerates towards the gangsters and holds the blade out towards them. They all dive for cover and the gunman stops the motorcycle and manages to spin it round while accelerating it.

The other gunman takes the advantage quickly because he has thrown a grenade to where they are hiding, which is behind a wall leading to the casino. The explosion nearly caves in the entire wall and loud piercing screams fill the now silent hallway. Stopping the bike and stepping off it, he draws his sword and his eyes divert to the parking lot hallway, and he shouts out to his partner.

SHIT! MILLS! THEY'VE GONE!

Wait, what? Didn't you see them down there?

No...I think they got alerted when we hit the security room, and this has obviously been a distraction for him to get outta here.

Ugh. DAMMING! Hey...I've got an idea. Lucky we have a helicopter.

You don't me...aw no, man. First these bastards, and now the boss man himself.

Slowly walking into the middle of the reception, around the carnage that surrounds him, pools of blood and fresh dead bodies all over the reception area, the gunman takes a radio from his jacket pocket and holding the button to make sure his message his transmitted, he begins to speak.

Hey! Listen, everyone's dead except for Colitri. Pick us up, so we have to find this bastard.

What? How are you even going to be able to see him?

Two motorbikes on either side of him, and his car is a limousine. They're headed towards the hideout they have when this shit happens.

Looking over at his partner, the large assailant has a confused look painted onto his face.

How the...? How do you know that?

Because before Frankie was murdered, he told me how they operated, and their escape routes and shit whenever a 'heist' was going down.

Wait a minute. Do they think this is a heist?

No, they know it's me. But it's the same thing.

It aint the same thing. We're in the drugs business and retaliating, and he's escaping when the casino is being jacked. That is NOT the same thing. It's not even the same league.

Smith?

Yeah?

Shut up. I have this all under control, trust me. Let's go back to the roof so we can get picked up. Oh wait, I have to set the detonators on the safe for the guys. Go up and I'll follow you.

Right.

The large gunman looks around at the pure carnage that the two men have caused, and then lets out a deep sigh. His walk is slow and calculated, but he begins to walk to the elevator, and the gunman, after also surveying the damage, quickly runs down the hallway as the scene slowly fades to black.

Back at the roof, the United States Army helicopter is hovering over the casino roof and ready to take off while the large gunman has made his way to the roof and walks towards the helicopter. He is followed by his partner s a few moments later, and both men grab onto the handles on the outside of the helicopter and pull themselves in which the helicopter then slowly makes it's ascent into the foggy sky. Smith wipes the blood off his blade and examines it as Mills is having a conversation with the pilot. After a few words are exchanged between them, Nicky turns back to Smith and has a evil grin on his face.

Hey Smith, when's the last time you saw a war movie?

Umm....what?

Watch this. To answer your question on how I know where Robert Colitri is, he's heading towards an apartment where he'll be in hiding until this all 'blows' over. Too bad it will be his last journey.

But why the question on war?

Because your about to witness it.

The helicopter begins to accelerate away from the casino and into the distance, as the scene fades to black.

'The Finale'

The thick grey clouds are beginning to hover over the sky while the heavy fog begins to disappear because the morning is coming into full effect. We look down with the many cars now coming onto the roads to travel to work and other locations. However, we are looking at a large black limousine which is travelling through the busy streets. Behind the limousine looks to be a completely black 'Hummer' and it is mirroring every move that the large limo makes.

It pulls into a nearby alley, which is empty but the buildings look to be apartments. The alleyway is not very well lit because it is away from the light but a lamp is able to light it enough for the men to see.  The vehicles come to a complete halt, and the Hummer doors open and the two bodyguards that we saw with Robert Colitri then step out of the large car and walking towards the limousine, they open the side door and the head of the Golatti Family slowly makes his way out of the limousine.

He seems rather distressed and he is puffing on a cigarette while talking on a cellular phone, his voice trembling and his eyes full of panic. Throwing the cell phone in anger, his two bodyguards look at each other before their eyes slowly move towards their angered boss. They open the back door and begin moving into the apartment block. Colitri is heard cursing in his growling voice while the men climb the large staircase towards their apartments. One of the bodyguards, a large African fellow, pushes his key into the apartment lock, and turning it, pushes the door open.

The apartment is rather beautiful and modern, a large television resting in the corner of the room and a small mini bar. The walls are completely white and a white couch sits in the middle of the room. The furniture is also modern but doesn't blend in with the white surroundings. A large window looks out onto the casinos and shops below, but the curtains are draw. Colitri turns to the other bodyguard, a large white individual with long blonde hair and with both ears pierced with rings. The man is a splitting image of movie actor John Travolta in Pulp Fiction but with different coloured hair and darker white skin. Robert Colitri then calls the two bodyguards over and begins to bellow over the quiet atmosphere.

Robert Colitri: This is the work of that Mills punk, right? What the fuck is he trying to pull?

The two bodyguards nod their heads to agree with their boss, while the large black African fellow clears his throat and begins to speak. Colitri lies back on the white couch with his head resting on a rather comfortable looking white feathered pillow.

Bodyguard #1: Yes boss. When we took out his boat, he was rumoured to be pissed off, but anything else, we have no idea about.

What?! What about MY money?

Well, Mr Colitri...

WHERE THE FUCK IS MY MONEY?!

It's still in the safe, but Mills is not after the money. He's after you.

So your telling me, that...how much is in that safe?

The white bodyguard whispers into the ear of his boss and as soon as he finishes his sentance, Robert Colitri literally blows a fuse in rage. His face turns cherry red and he lets out a giant roar of anger, grabbing the bodyguard by his tuxedo jacket and screaming in rage, spit from his mouth falling onto the face of his bodyguard.

YOU FUCK! SEVEN MILLION DOLLARS?! SEVEN MILLION DOLLARS IN THAT SAFE, AND YOU LEFT IT?! ARGH! YOU BA...

Colitri stops his sentence and his face flushes into white, as a roaring of a helicopter slowly fills the silence. Each man looks at the other, and then towards where the sound is coming from.

No...he's here...

They then realize what is about to take place and quickly fall face first onto the ground, as the firing of machine guns shatters the window and begins to destroy the apartments furniture and walls with bullet holes. The machine gun fired is followed by a metal object falling to the ground, and an explosion which sends one of the bodyguards flying into the air and when he falls to the ground, lands on his neck, a disgusting cracking noise confirming that the man has broken his neck.

Seconds later, the other bodyguard tries to return fire against the machine gun fire but his entire chest is riddled with bullets. He immediately falls to the ground leaving Robert Colitri, who begins crawling desperately away from the scene of chaos. The gunfire has stopped, and a figure slowly lands into the apartment via the completely shattered window.

The helicopter is hovering to wait for Mills, who walks towards the head of the Golatti Family with a grin spread across his face. Aiming his machine gun at the almost pathetic man, he stops his movement and a laugh escapes him.

ROBERT COLITRI!

Colitri whimpers and continues to try and crawl away, while Nicky walks towards him, still shouting his victims name.

ROBERT COLITRI!

The gangster stops and turns back to look at his nemesis, Nicky, who grabs him by the jacket neck and lifts him to his feet, pushing him towards the bullet ridden wall behind him. Robert's eyes stare into the cold unforgiving raging eyes of Nicky Mills, who holds the machine gun to the chest of Colitri.

Oh, I finally caught you without your precious guards or any of those Mafia snakes.

Fuck you!

So that little stunt you pulled on me, and you thought that the Golatti Family would be victorious? Your fucking pathetic.

If you kill me, the other families will be after you. Nicky Mills will be dead and buri...

Mills sends a knee to the ribs of Colitri, who holds his ribs and falls to the ground onto his knees, moaning from the pain. Nicky stares at him for a while  with the gun still aimed before beginning to walk away from the scene of carnage towards the helicopter. He however, is still talking while he is making his journey.

Robert Colitri, you have been found guilty of the following crimes. Attempting to prevent a man do his business, reckless endangerment, and the worst sin of all, cowardliness. You...

Nicky turns around and his eyes immediately tell the entire story. Robert tries to stand on his feet, but his back is still against the wall, ironically, since this is the situation he is in now. He then proceeds to pull out his gun and aim it at the chest of 'The Outlaw, begins to fire shots towards his chest. Silence fills the room while Mills opens his jacket to reveal a bullet-proof vest.

DIE, MILLS!!!

And with that sentence, Colitri tries to fire his pistol towards the head of his enemy. But the gun jams up completely. In a realization, the gangster whimpers while Nicky shakes his head in disapproval.

Colitri, I sentence you to death. You'll be joining your very dear friends, the Lunacchio's, down in that pit of hell. Your casino and your money is mine, along with the Las Vegas territory. It's over for you and your family. Your remaining soldiers will wither away in terror and your...friends...will back off and let me take Las Vegas. Killing Frankie didnt help my anger, but destroying my cargo? That was your death warrant signed and mailed. Nothing can save you now, and you know it. Just like the two CIA officers I killed, just like the people I killed in Toronto on that bus, and everyone else that has been murdered at my hands, you will join them. Remember that I can never die. I will live, but unfortunatly, you will die. You had the chance to join me, but your ego got in the way of that, and it had to come to bloodshed. Six million dollars and your territory is my reward for killing you. And with that, little man, your time is now. Bon Voyage, Robert Colitri...

Nicky empties the entire clip into his drug enemy, the bullets each making an impact of its own. Robert looks at his killer and tries to mouth something, but nothing comes out. His breathing eventually stops and the man once known as the Golatti Family's head is now dead. His eyes are completely still, but the look of terror remains in them. Mills takes out something from his jacket pocket and rests it onto the limp body of Robert Colitri. The object looks to be a bomb wired up to a timer. He presses a button on the side of the bomb which activates the timer from a minute.

Have a nice trip...fucko.

The helicopter continues to hover but the echo of sirens make Mills realize he must escape. The gunman makes his way to the helicopter and quickly enters it. As the helicopter begins to whir away, a giant explosion completely rips apart the apartment and all the bodies inside. The fire rages on wildly while police cars arrive at the scene, but another explosion completely takes out the surrounding area and the police officers are caught in the blast. Fading to black, the terror continues and the helicopter is now nowhere in sight.

'The Aftermath'

Nothing can be seen on screen, but the voice of a newsreporter quickly makes sure the silence does not last. It is a woman's voice full of question.

News reporter: We are receiving reports that two explosions have taken place in the large state of Las Vegas, Nevada. Information this station has this point can only say that one of the explosions took place at 'The Venetian' casino which is still burning at this time and nobody can enter the building.

The surrounding area was evacuated safely but we are receiving reports that a stolen United States Army helicopter was seen leaving the scene of the second explosion, which was in an apartment in West Post Road. Officers were killed investigating the explosions and police have now evacuated all of the areas where the explosions took place. We will get more news as we receive it, but for anyone who may have relatives in Las Vegas should call...

The news report then fades out, and we are looking at a news report about the explosions. Three men are watching the report, and on the table lies an entire pile of wrapped up bonds. 'The Baron' turns away to investigate the dollar bills while Mills and 'Smith' both turn to each other and they both smile. The scene then slowly fades to complete darkness.
