Fighting the Rookies

The scene opens backstage just before the Main Event as we are in the locker room of 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills, who is in the locker room itself preparing for his match against Krisis for the Eurasian title, as he is dressed in his wrestling attire, the pink sunglasses covering his eyes. Doing some stretches and then jumping up and down to keep his blood pumping, he takes a bottle of water beside him and takes a large quantity of it before the door opens and he is interrupted by a TnT stagehand, who seems to be shaking with fear. Mills notices him and stops his warmup to look at him, confusion drawn on his face.

'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills: What is it?

The stagehand cannot get his words out properly and stutters, sweat pours down from his forehead, possibly from fright. Nicky continues to glare at the stagehand, a look of irritation forming, and this makes the stagehand manage to gather his wits and speak to Nicky.

TnT Stagehand: It's...Jeremy...he's...

Nicky seems to understand and bursts from the locker-room towards the locker-room of the Dynasty, where Jeremy is seen lying on the ground, a broken table right next to him. It is truly a horrific sight as paramedics are surrounding and trying to attend to one of the owners of TnT Wrestling. Cundiff is slowly moving as Nicky leans down beside his partner to check on him.

What the fuck happened to you?

Jeremy, even though in quite a state, is sitting up and wiping the blood off his face and checking on himself for any other injuries. Nicky looks mortified in what he is seeing, and helps Jeremy get to his feet.

Jeremy Cundiff: It was that fucking snake! That fucking two bit prick!

Was this Billy Dee or any of his guys?

Cundiff lets out a roar of anger and pushes away a helpless paramedic, who falls to the ground and Cundiff holds his right arm backas if he was about to hit him, but Mills holds him to try get him under control.

Who did this, Jeremy?

Jonny. It was Fly. He's been playing us ever since he made his return to the ring.

Nicky stops and stares at his partner for a moment, maybe showing he doesnt believe him. Cundiff notices this look and begins getting angry, his face now cherry red with anger.

I'm not lying! He was with his little gang, the Dynasty Hitmen or whatever they're called. Said the Dynasty is over. Then his guys put me through this damn table for calling him what he is, and that's a snake! That bastard! I cant believe it...

Mills steps away from Jeremy and holds his head, trying to believe what his partner is telling him. Could it be that the man who he believed was his best friend and a man he trusted, now an enemy of his?

Your serious? This better not be one of your dope hits gone wrong.

Of coarse I'm serious. You think this is a joke? I wouldn't put myself through a goddamn table, would I?

Has Jonny Fly betrayed them and is now going for himself? Nicky isnt sure what to believe, and his face is indeed a picture showing this. He lets go of Jeremy slowly, who can stay on his own two feet, and walks away for a second trying to acknowledge what has happened and what Cundiff has told him.

Aw man, when I find him...he's a fucking deadman...he's...

JEREMY! I've got better things to think about than this! I've got Dee on my back right now and now I have to go to fight Krisis and win the Eurasian championship for the second time. I cant worry about Jonny and what he's planning. Stay here. I'll be back as soon as I can.

Mills taps Cundiff on the shoulder and walks out of the Dynasty locker room and towards the entrance. For now however, his focus is on Krisis, and taking the Eurasian championship away from him. When the loud bass of 'Mosh' by Eminem plays over the large speakers, and he walks through the large curtain, and out for the entire world to see, the show then fading to black.

The scene remerges as Mills is walking through the arena corridors and heading towards the exit, otherwise known, as the parking lot. Nicky has a large black duffel bag containing his wrestling attire, which the bag is strapped across his right shoulder and Nicky is dressed in normal street gear, a white tee shirt and a pair of blue denim jeans. He almost reaches the parking lot entrance where his eyes detect someone he didn't expect to see, and stops directly in his tracks as the other person, accompanied by a rather large gang of men in suits, also stop and look his direction, and straight at Nicky. They were also heading in the same direction, but now both sides are not moving an inch. Moments pass as neither side move a muscle, or utter a word, just continue to stare at the other's direction.

Jonny Fly.

Accompanied with the Dynasty Hitmen.

Nicky doesn't know how to react. On one hand, this is a man who beat down his partner, and Nicky would do anything to protect him. On the other hand, this was a man who he considered his best friend, a man who helped him, along with the large gang of men, take out an entire Mob family that had made Nicky's life a living hell. They were directly responsible for the 'Lunacchio Slaughters' as the event is being called now by the authorities and the media. This man helped Nicky avenge his brother's death. He owes him a debt. And now he is his enemy? He doesn't care about the Dynasty. That's all over, and he knew it. His partner was unfortunate and simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But could he really consider Fly an enemy? A man who helped him kill an entire Mafia family who wanted to assassinate Mills in the first place?

Jonny eventually is the first to break the silence, his eyes dart away from his former ally and he walks towards the parking lot entrance, the 'Dynasty Hitmen' follow their leader while Nicky watches them with a look of shock, as if now knowing what to do. Once the men have all left to the parking lot, Nicky shakes his head and looks as if he wants to shout out something to Jonny, but thinks best of it. After a moment or two, he heads in the same direction towards the parking lot, and the scene slowly fades to black.

Opening at the morning after of TnT Mayhem, in the beachside modern mansion, one of several properties of Nicky Mills', we are in the gigantic living room, where the large screen television is playing the 'Scarface' movie, which stars Al Pacino as Tony Montana, one of the most popular gangster films ever seen on screen. It is playing the end scene where the Columbians surround the mansion of Montana and attempt to infiltrate the mansion itself, and eventually do so, as they surround the entrance and the office of Tony, shouting commands to their comrades below. The man himself, affected from taking a large amount of cocaine, grabs a gun from his cabinet and begins ranting at the Columbians, inserting the clips and still walking towards the door.

Tony Montana (Television): SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!

He then blows a grenade launcher shot towards the door, which sends the men spiralling in the air and the door itself is blow down from the powerful shot as Montana fires with machine gun rounds. We then fade out to the actual living room, and Nicky is seen with his remote control, flicking through the other channels. Cundiff is laid out on the couch, a bag of dope sitting on the coffee table as Mills looks at his tag team partner and shakes his head in obvious disgust, and then bellows at him.

Nicky Mills: GET YOUR ASS UP, YOU FUCKING STONER!

Cundiff begins to stir when he hears this, opening his eyes but then closing them. Mills then finds the pipe Jeremy was using to smoke and taps him on the head with it, as Cundiff begins groaning and trying to get away, but it is no use. Finally, he sits up in an instant, while Nicky is seen laughing as Jeremy feels his head to check for any damage...

No need Jeremy. You aint got any hair! Your a shiny baldy like 'Mr Angry Man' formerlly known as Krisis.

Jeremy sarcastically laughs and then flips him the middle finger which makes 'The Outlaw' roar with laughter. After a few moments of this, Cundiff manages to resolve himself and his thoughts to be able to speak.

Your an asshole, you know that? I was enjoying my beauty sleep.

For you, it's 'freak sleep'. For ME, it's beauty sleep. Face it, your really just a stoner now. I'll book you in a good rehab centre.

Do that and I'll shove this pipe squarely up your hole and it'll go so far up, it'll take a surgeon six hours to remove it.

Too bad your not as good with insults as you are with smoking that shit. Where's your bi...

Cundiff growls when Nicky goes to say the word 'bitch' and Mills slaps him across the head in a playful manner, but Jeremy fails to see the funny side of it. Mills sighs and takes a deep breath as he switches off the television and turns his full body around to his friend, so that he can have his full attention.

Lighten up, man. Jesus...just because Jonny slapped...

Slapped? No, he had his little Matrix suits take care of that part.

Matrix suits? You know who those guys are, right?

Yeah. I dont care.

Well, at the moment, I'm in a little predicament. You need to stay out of Fly's way for the time being unless you want to 'disappear', as I bluntly put it. I've got Billy Dee on my hands, I've signed on with N.E.W, joined the Kovenant...

Jeremy, who was taking a giant hit when Mills was saying his last statement, begins coughing violently and tries to get some oxygen into his lungs, and for a few seconds, is trying to take in deep breaths. After a few moments, he manages to take the hit and looks up at Nicky, his eyes full of wonder and shock.

You what?! Joined the Kovenant?!

Well, yeah.

But why? It's an old stable. It's way over. It's like the Dynasty.

Are you an idiot or what? No it isn't. Listen to this, Jeremy, and may you be enlightened by my words.

Your words always leave a sour taste in my mouth.

Low blow, prick. But anyway, listen to this. Kevin Cosmos, Doc Placebo, Rilo, Rubeus Dahrkov, and James Ramage. Along with Reverend Snow, we're an unstoppable force that cant be reckoned with. We have their owner in the pocket already, THAT is how much of a threat we are.

What's this company then? I've never heard of it.

Exactly. They're like little lambs compared to the big leagues. Please, me and Ramage are fighting nobodies. Guys that probably came from the gutter to get into that company. They need a big stable like us. All of those guys are nothing. While the Kovenant are the biggest names in the industry. What the hell am I taking thirty thousand dollars for my salary? Dont know, but by the time we take the belts, we'll be rich. Do the maths, man.

I was never any good at maths.

Nicky is in despair as he opens up his arms as if to say 'why bother?' but then smiles.

So, boss, what other idiot do I have this week in TnT?

If I remember, it was Jimmy Vetalo.

Yes! Finally!

But, since I'm high, it wasn't. I think your up against that new guy.

Is this some sort of sick joke or something? Why do I ALWAYS face these rookies? I hate them. They suck. Anyway, who is it this time?

The computer name...Rodgers...or something like that.

Nicky catches the drift and his face is truly a sight to see, one of true and utter horror. His eyes have a hint of sadness, and Mills moves towards his leather couch, and then collapses onto it. He then immediately sits up, and has a giant smile.

I've just got a great idea.

What's that, chico? Take a hit with me, yo?

Cundiff offers Mills the pipe, his arm outstretched and his hand holding the pipe itself. Nicky however, is enraged and slaps it out of its hand, as the pipe falls to the ground, unwanted by the former UwA owner. Cundiff's eyes open in shock as he believes his pipe is broken, but on closer inspection, realizes it's still useable.

I'm warning you. Offer me a drug again and I WILL book you into rehab! You hear me?

Asshole. Go back to pretending to be hot shit.

Last time I checked, I was.

Nicky lets out a small laugh and then begins to walk towards the giant staircase, but then stops and takes a look back at his partner, as if wanting to say something to him. Indeed, he opens his mouth and shouts back to the TnT part owner.

I got to go and do something. Stay here and just...erm...whatever you do when I'm not around.

Watch the Chyna and X Pax sex video over and over?

Mills shakes his head in obvious disgust for what Cundiff just said, and heads upstairs and out of camera sight as the scene slowly fades to black.

Trent Hoffman: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight on TnT Wrestling Superbash, where we preview the events that have happened at Mayhem and what we anticipate what may happen on the next show. Tonight, we have an exclusive interview with the new TnT Eurasian champion, 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills, who fought Krisis to win the championship in what was called 'the match of the night'. Now Mills, this Sunday, will be fighting newcomer Macintosh Rogers this Sunday LIVE at the Key Arena! All that on more, TNT WRESTLING SUPERBASH!

The scene then fades into the introduction of the show, and then goes to a studio where Trent Hoffman, dressed in normal street clothes, is sitting opposite Nicky Mills, who is holding the Eurasian championship, and wearing the pink sunglasses which completely cover his eyes. He is also showing off a complete black tuxedo, and has a giant grin on his face. Trent looks for a signal to begin his interview, and begins to speak.

Hello, and welcome to TnT Wrestling Superbash, where we have a lot of things on schedule for this show. We have the announcement of whether Jimmy Vetalo should seek anger management for his diagnoses of having 'Borderline Personality Disorder' by this man here, Nicky Mills, and whether Krisis should grow hair for his adoring female fans. We've also had a lot of feedback on the Jonny Fly situation. Keep those emails and phone calls coming!

First on this show however, we have a man who has requested this interview for a lot of reasons that have been made public to the wrestling audience. And I have to ask one that is in minds of millions of fans watching at home. Now as you already know, your former ally Jonny Fly turned on your tag team partner Jeremy Cundiff and said the Dynasty was no more, and then viciously assaulted your partner backstage along with the so called 'Dynasty Hitmen'. What are your feelings on this?

Nicky is taken aback by the question, but also realizes he knew it was coming. Nicky thinks for a second and then answers Trent's question.

I don't know, to be honest. This is a man who I trusted, who I held in high regard once. For him to go and do this, it's like as if he wants to become a lone rider. Now dont think I'm avoiding the situation. I've got a lot more to think about than Jonny at the moment. If he wants to go for himself, then fine. Good luck to him.

Wasn't this a man however, that brought you into the Dynasty in the first place? You trusted him, and now he's going out for himself. Does that make you feel...

Jonny will and always will be Fly. He does whatever he likes, and rightfully so. Let him move on. Just because he attacked Cundiff doesn't mean I'm going to immediately go after him, does it? It's Jeremy's decision what he does next, not mine. So that's the way it is.

Alright. Now there have been a lot of rumours circulating about you joining a new wrestling company called 'New Era Wrestling', along with many members of the Kovenant. You are officially now a Kovenant member in this new federation. Will this affect your time with TnT Wrestling? And why take such a low pay of $30,000?

What, are you nuts? Of coarse it wont. What this is about, Trent, is power. You see, the thirty thousand dollars really doesn't mean a damn thing to me. I don't do this shit for the money, do I?. I do it for the sheer thrill of wrestling. But this time, I'm doing this to show that meaningless federation what it's like to have 'competition'. You see Hoffman, The Kovenant is the most powerful stable right next to the Dynasty, None of this High Roller bullshit or The Legend Killer crap we've had to endure. We are the most powerful group in wrestling. We hold the industry in our hands, and we control it our way. Rubeus Dahrkov, a man who needs no introduction. Kevin Cosmos, a true legend in the business. Doc Placebo, a great talent and one psychopathic guy. James Ramage, um...is new talent. Rilo, the Wizard from Pan. Reverend Snow, another Icon. And then there's me, the Technical Wonder himself, the Wrestling Legend, Nicky Mills.

What have we already done in N.E.W? The guy who owns the brand knows that we're the future of that company. We walk into that place, big names like ourselves, with a bunch of no brained morons who couldn't wrestle their way into a job, so they have to work for crap pay and no respect. We're oozing with respect, while these guys aren't shit. Please, when I heard my opponents rant on about me this week, I almost cried with laughter. I mean, you have a white boy trying to talk black like he's some sort of rapper, a guy who calls himself Simon, and I forget the others because they don't deserve to be mentioned, and simply, I don't know who they are. Ramage and I will tear those poor bastards apart, it will be a beautiful sight to witness. The Kovenant will show N.E.W what pure talent really is, and how the Kovenant will revolutionize the company.

Let's get down to TnT Wrestling business. Now with you going after Billy Dee once again and his disciples, you also have an opponent this Sunday at Mayhem against newcomer Macintosh Rogers...

You ACTUALLY believe I'm going to face that rookie? I'm facing enough rookies this week and frankly, he doesn't deserve my time. So I'm setting a new challenge, one fans will want to see, because it will be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Now if I remember correctly, Reed Harrington is this man's manager? A man who will never see eye to eye with myself, right? We've had a lot of wars over the World title and there are scores left unsettled. So I'm proposing this. Screw that little rookie bastard, and right here right now, I am calling out 'The Freaking Legend' himself!

What?! He's injured. You cant do that.

Come on Hoffman. Think about it. LIVE, on Mayhem, 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills taking on Reed Harrington, for the very last time in Reed's career, before he finally 'retires' and become a manager to that kid. The bout all wrestling fans want to see again. He can pull one more performance out of his sorry behind, can he not? He's not very crippled at the moment. Come on Reed. Dont let your last match be the one where those retarded wrestlers 'ended' your career. They're sloppy in the ring anyway. No, let it be against me Harrington, if anything.

But why?

No offence, but if he doesn't accept, and I have to end up facing Rogers, I will slap the crap out of him anyway for making me do it. So either way, I'm going to drag him into this ring, and lock in a Legends Pain that he'll be dying to get out of. But at least when he's in the ring, he can submit gracefully and show the entire world who is the better man, and that's me. Come on Reed, what have you truly got to lose, man? Give me a match I can be proud of, or are you really too much of a pussy to come out and fight me like a man? Oh and Billy, don't worry. I have a big surprise for you. But I cant say it now. You'll find out soon enough what it is, however.

Wow, what an announcement from the Eurasian champion. Nicky has challenged Reed Harrington to a match at Sunday Mayhem instead of Reed's client, Macintosh Rogers. Will Reed accept the challange? Tune into TnT television for more news. And we'll be right back after these commercials.

The scene then fades completely to black, with a daunting question. Will the former TnT wrestler step in the ring for the very last time against his former nemesis? Tune into find out. One thing is for sure, Nicky is certainly at the top of his game right now, and one can only wonder what else he has up his sleeve.
