The Thoughts
My career has taken many turns and crossed many streets. Sometimes it's gone for the best and other's it's gone for the worst. But it seems that my 'change' has done better for me than it was supposed to be. When I finally fought Nic Totopoulous in the IronMan, they did something they were not supposed to.
They changed Nicky Mills.
They changed a man who was not supposed to 'convert', but he didn't do it directly. No, when I wrestled Nic in possibly the greatest wrestling ever seen, the crowd knew that both men were what TNT Wrestling stood for. This era of the High Rollers was dead and buried, and that's why those two bolted to that degrading company known as the UWA. After the IronMan, the era of entertainment, of trashtalk, was over. What mattered was what happened in the ring. Thus, the birth of true wrestling began.
And after that match, I accepted that the feud was won, he had prevailed, and had to give credit to my enemies. They brought out the killer instinct in me. Even losing to Vetalo has had no affect whatsoever. Granted, it would have been nice to send them packing with their tails between their legs, but oh well. Not every match can be won. And in the end, your wins and losses don't really mean shit. It's what you do in the ring that counts.
This match is for the TNT World Heavyweight Championship, a belt that I need to prevail. Nic Totopoulous is my opponent. He has had some very interesting things to say about me, his already 'guaranteed' win got inside his head. I've got all the respect in the world for him, but he isn't going to win. I have too much riding on the match to just lose it to him. If I lose, what happens? He goes on to fight Eric Baxter and that will be it for 'The Outlaw'. Losing two World title matches will not be good for me.
It's time I rose up and took this company in the direction it's supposed to go in. Fight not as a coward who whines and complains about not being respected but as a wrestler who looks at every opponent he fights and takes them down. I am that person. Nic is not. As much as the guy is the toughest opponent I've ever faced off against, he must be stopped. This religious stuff has gone way too far. He even suggest James Sanderson could beat me for the Eurasian title just because 'he' was on his side. Rubbish. Nic cannot win his matches for him. So I won't promise I'll win, I can just promise that the World championship is my very destiny and that Mayhem, we will find out who the better man is. No interference, no friends or enemies, just the two of us with our pride, determination, everything that we have fought for on the line.
If he wins, he still keeps his pride and honour and will still be a legend in this business.
But for me, everything is riding on this match. I may be the Eurasian champion, but this is more about that belt. I defended it successfully against Nic Totopoulous, but now it's time for me to take the World belt properly. To finally win it without the Dynasty or any 'politics' that was supposedly accused against me. No, it's time for myself to do it BY MYSELF. And whoever wins the match, which I hope to be Eric Baxter, I will beat him next and then whoever comes up against me, whether it be the One Winged Angel or even the returning Jimmy Vetalo, I will fight him.
For me, this is everything or nothing. Mayhem will be do or die, and I don't intend to die just yet.
Forward and Backwards
The scene opens on a sunny hot day in the popular city of Los Angeles, California, the site of TNT Mayhem where the vacant TNT Wrestling World championship will be decided in a match with two of the company's greatest technical wrestlers in legend Nic Totopoulous and 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills, a Hollywood and Wrestling sensation who has just come off a loss with Vetalo last week. But this doesn't seem to have any affect on the wrestler, who is now looking to win the championship to win the title for the second time in his career.
The camera is looking at the popular Venice Beach where the sun is shining down heavily on the tourists and citizens below, walking around, having picnics, and on the actual beach, children and normal people swimming and surfing and doing all kinds of things. On the grey sidewalk where palms tree provide some shadow, a figure is seen running in the scorching temperature with a grey hooded top and a baseball cap. Many people turn and begin cheering as the person continues to run, with sweat running down his cherry red face and he continues to jog despite being almost exhausted due to the weather. He stops at a bench with an unknown individual who has a cap and a hood over his face to prevent identification. This is codename 'Smith' otherwise known as Travis Williams, and he seems to be chewing on a McDonalds burger while watching his partner take his soda drink and begin sucking on the straw.
'Smith' AKA Travis Williams: Hey! That's MY Soda! Get your own, you bastard.
Mills flips him a middle finger and continues to suck on the straw, which Travis snatches off him. Opening the plastic cup, he realizes it is empty, and throws it down on the ground.
Nicky Mills: Were you always such a greedy bastard?
Yeah.
I've just been running around this damn beach for like an hour, and you don't give a shit.
Hey, it's just another day out for me.
You know Travis, getting rid of that 'Williams fat' could do some good.
Williams fat? Hey, the Williams were never fat people.
Jeremy? Christian? Andrea?
My little sister was never fat. Christian was a giant bastard, and so am I. Jeremy..um..he just smoked lots and lots of weed. But we weren't all fat.
You'd call it big boned?
Hey, I'm still proud of the fact that back in the Dynasty, I beat you in a burger eating competition. I mean, nobody can eat the amount of Big Mac's I did.
Yeah, but I'm a better athlete than you.
Hey, as long as I get my daily kick, you can consider me a very happy person.
Travis laughs and takes another bite of his Big Mac burger while Nicky is bothered by a young child holding out a pen and an autograph pad. The mother tries to take him away to reprimand him but Mills holds his hand out to stop the woman, who backs off. Mills then takes the pen and the paper and asks the child her name, who responds 'Kate'. Mills makes a rather basic autograph and then hands it back to the child, who walks away happy. She calls out 'Good Luck' to him, and Nicky smiles. Travis just snarls at Nicky who turns around and smiles.
Travis, cheer up, will you? That's the image of being me. Life is great, and I couldn't ask for better.
Your not recognized as dead though, are you?
Damn, you can still have fun being 'dead'. Look, what did Sanchez say to you?
Um, he was rather cocky at first. Wanted you there but then managed to come around.
So do we have a deal?
Yeah. Rod said we just need to help him out in his 'hood'.
Um, right. Too bad that powder wasn't real. As they say, washing powder does wonders in situations like that.
Williams stares in amazement at Nicky who begins laughing and grinning.
What?!
Look, we have some unwanted attention at the moment.
Such as?
The other Mafia families. They're pissed about Robert Colitri and the fact we robbed his casino and burned it to the ground. And I think they're probably still sour about the Lunacchio stuff.
Wait a second... You mean I was sent over to that Mexican bitch and you duped him?
Travis... he wanted me because I was dead. If I went myself, I would have found myself with a million caps in my ass. Now, that is never good business.
Right.
Now, if we dupe them, they know we've got the better of them. The Bandits are small time Mexican gangsters. The other families are just being real cheap about it. But they know they cant do it any other way.
Why? They could whack you anyway.
Right, because I'm such a well known celebrity, it's like trying to kill the President. If I'm killed, they won't see 'that' point. This good guy image has some good qualities to it. The media would be all over the Mafia world.
But your also an accused criminal.
Correctamundo! They have so many informants that they could easily say that my 'death' was because of everything. I did those cops favours by getting rid of the Lunacchio's and the Golatti's. There are so many corrupt cops that they hate me right now. They know they will never get a piece of me, and they can't 'arrest' me because of the CIA immunity.
CIA immunity?
Remember when I tried to escape the country?
Yeah... your brother's death...
Right. But they couldn't prove it. They had absolutely nothing on me. And they were getting hassled because they didn't have a damn thing.
So they dropped the charges.
Yes, but I had to do a lot. First, I paid them off to tell everybody my brother had 'confessed' to the murder of the New York police officer that Jonny sent me to kill. He basically 'confessed' every crime they wanted me for. They also managed to accuse me of the Toronto Skydome bombing, but I didn't do that one. Somehow, they just got carried away with wanting me in jail. But now they had to make sure I was CLEARED of everything. Everyone smelt bullshit, but what could they do?
And you get 'immunity' from the CIA?
Basically. They can't charge me with shit because of what happened. It fell flat and they got fucked over it, so it will take either the FBI, DEA, or any of those moron police forces to charge me with anything. But seriously, nobody has time to bother with the Mafia. Robert Burke has been snooping around as well.
Who?
He's the guy in New York. I sent Baron to try and reason with him and to get into contact with...
Right. So why did you give Sanchez fake powder?
Sending a message to them. They get duped, they know not to try it again. Burke isn't in with the other families but he's got his own agendas. But the message has been sent.
Okay, sounds good. So how do you feel about this match?
I'll tell you this, I'm in a world of hell against him. It's going to take everything I have to take him down.
Nic Totopoulous is tough, and he's going to give you everything he's got. But this is the World title, man. If you win, your on top again. But wrestling is your game. Don't turn it into a hardcore match.
That wont happen again, I promise you. Sunday, I'll reign a parade on the ass of Nic Totopoulous.
Good. Let's get out of here, man. I need some food.
Sounds good.
Mills and Travis get up from the bench and begin to walk away from the beach. Sunday Mayhem will be the event to tune into, whether 'The Outlaw' will finally win his second World championship, or whether Nic Totopoulous will make his comeback true and win yet another TNT World championship in his already legendary career. It will be the show where a champion will be crowned, and a contender will emerge for that championship in the form of Macintosh Rogers or Eric Baxter.
He's Alive!
As the two men are seen walking away, the scene switches across the road to a blue four doored Sedan that has been sitting in the same position for a long time. An unknown person is seen taking pictures of Travis Williams and Nicky Mills using a camera. There are two other people in the vehicle and the man in the back seems to be watching from his window. His face is horribly scared and he covers his eyes with large black sunglasses. The light does not reflect off his face and is covered with a black shadow, but as he leans out, he is seen in all of his glory. The right side of his face is heavily burnt and charcoaled with black. The other man in the front seat talks to the man who is taking pictures.
Man #1: Is that him?
The person taking the photographs stops and turns to his partner.
Man #2: Yes. I don't know who the big guy is though.
I have no idea either. He seems new, but close to him.
Grunting in the back seat, the disfigured man finally speaks up with his voice showing anger.
Unknown: That piece of shit...
I know, boss. But we have to wait.
Wait?! I've been waiting for months to have my revenge! Ever since my son was killed at his hands, my entire family destroyed... My beautiful son was taken away by that fucking rat.
We'll get him, but when the time is right. We can't just fire away at him.
You have no idea, do you? Absolutely no idea of what I've been through. Do you understand?
Yes, sir...
I don't think you do. Him and that Jonny Fly fuck took my entire family down. We wanted to whack ONE guy, and we end up on the receiving end. Paulie Lino and Tommy Vance... Santino... They will be avenged.
He then takes off his sunglasses to see that one of his eyes does not exist, and a black eyepatch covers the area so that it is not noticable. However, his identity is revealed and the two men in the front seat agree with him. He sneers and begins laughing while puffing on a cigerette. How is this man alive? He was meant to be dead when Nicky Mills and Jonny Fly had killed the entire Lunacchio Family. Nicky shot him and dragged his body to a burning house so the bodies would burn, yet this man is alive. He is disfigured but he still breathes.
Don Vincent Lunacchio is alive.
