Viva Las Vegas
Part I
The scene opens hours after the events of Mayhem as press reporters are surrounding the hotel entrance in Seattle, Washington, where Mayhem has just taken place. Many reporters are looking for the man who has thought to have ended Billy Dee's career after an after show attack in a local Seattle church, revenge for not only setting Mills up for a number of attacks, but for attacking him in the ring and outnumbering him in the ring. Many people are discussing whether the Hell In A Cell match will even take place after the man who upset Jonny Fly earlier this evening has been taken to a nearby hospital and is said to be in a 'dangerous' condition. Many of the reporters also want to know whether the rumours of Jeremy Cundiff disappearing are true, as he is said to have left along with Andrea Williams, and no trace has been reported of the couple.
Suddenly, a white limousine pulls up at the entrance of the hotel and like hungry wolves, they surround the limosuine, bawling questions like no tomorrow, hoping to get an answer. Security arrive and slowly push the reporters away, as out steps the man everyone is looking for, Nicky Mills. Wearing a complete black tuxedo and wearing a pair of black shades, the Eurasian champion looks around and realizes who the people are, and listens to their questions.
Reporter #1: How are you currently feeling after being upset by Macintosh Rogers?
Reporter #2: What are your thoughts on Billy Dee being in a serious condition after you assaulted him after he attacked numerous people during the evening and framed you for them instead?
Reporter #3: Comments were made against you by new TnT signee, Profilik, regarding you being a 'has been' and that you 'were past your prime'. How do you respond to these comments?
Reporter #4: Have you heard from either Jeremy Cundiff or Andrea Williams? Do you know their current whereabouts?
Nicky walks into the gang of press reporters, his eyes set upon the reporters, and motions for security to hold back. Taking a piece of chewing gum from his trouser pocket, he throws it into his mouth and slowly chewing on it, he speaks to the press reporters.
Nicky Mills: First of all, I don't really give a shit about Macintosh Rogers. I made a mistake and I underestimated him, but so what? But then again, how could you take that loser seriously? I was more happy with smashing Harrington with a fist and showing that big headed asshole how I still hate his guts. I also heard that Rogers' mother died, so he had more motivation going into it than I did. Congratulations to him, and I hope he goes on to have a good career, but he will still and forever be a loser.
As for Billy Dee, I have finally done what I said I was going to do, and that was end his career. It's ironic how his numbers wasn't there to help him or assist him when yours truly was destroying him. They thought they had me. But then I just appeared and kicked that little punks head around the church. So, what are my feelings now that he's hurt?
That little bastard put me in a coma a while back, if you recall, so he deserves every punishment he got. He attacks numerous people backstage and tries to accuse ME of being the master behind them? Bullshit. Nobody fucks with me and gets away with it. I warned him and he didn't listen. So I guess I'll be enjoying the time off this Sunday, because since Dee is down and out, he's not going to be able to compete.
Now to that useless nigger, what else can I say? Every black wrestler has to be a thug. Why cant this guy find himself a gimmick that doesn't disgrace himself? Black people in wrestling always play the same character. This kid isn't very good at it either. Listen to him. He doesn't know his facts very well, and obviously has not done his homework. I'm 'washed up'? Kid, I'm twenty six years old! Twenty six! How the hell can you call that washed up? Past my prime, either?
Hell no! I'll be in my prime forever, because this right here, people, is the man himself. I'm the best at what I do, and this kid doesn't deserve my time nor my energy. He's just another useless black man with an attitude, and trust me, I've seen a lot of them. When you prove yourself and get a couple of wins under your belt, maybe we'll talk about a match. Oh, and if he does, I have some advice for him. Drop the Ghetto Bitch attitude. Please, it's humiliating to watch you make a fool of yourself by trying to challenge me when you sound like a rejected rapper.
The press laugh at this comment and Nicky realizes the last question he was asked, and answers it.
And Jeremy? I haven't heard from him nor Andrea. How should I know where they are? Last I saw of him, he was trying to calm me down when I was thrown out of the arena. After that, I haven't seen him since.
He has also reported to have given his stock to a mystery buyer. Do you know anything about this?
Nicky stops and stares at this reporter, and a long minute of silence is the only sound to be heard, before Mills shakes his head.
No. I know nothing of this. Now gentlemen, if you would excuse me...
Are you also aware that at Mayhem, you will be main eventing against Mike Wilson, with Jimmy Vetalo serving as the special referee?
Mills stops and seems taken aback by this reporter saying this, but he shakes his head and then moves through the press crowd as the scene then slowly fades to darkness, and Nicky disappears into the hotel building.
Earlier That Evening
The scene opens backstage at the busy building which is known as the Key Arena just hours after the TnT Mayhem show. Crew members are preparing to tear down the arena and other staff are preparing to leave for the night. 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills, dressed in the same attire he was last seen when he attacked Billy Dee in a local Seattle church, and all eyes look towards him. He looks rushed off his feet and seems to be looking for someone. A gang of security are discussing business when suddenly, the controversial wrestler approaches them without apprehension.
You guys seen Jeremy Cundiff anywhere?
The gang shake their heads and Nicky continues on their way, towards the locker room of 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills, and when he approaches the door, he enters without a thought. The room is still the same as it was left, but on the leather sofa, is an envelope with the name 'Nicky Mills' written in big black font. Mills quickly takes the envelope and in a quick motion, uses his thumb to tear open the envelope. Taking out a folded piece of paper, his eyes scan across the paper and he begins reading it. After a few moments, his eyes widen as if shocked with the contents. He continues to read and after reading the entire contents, puts the paper down and reads it again, trying to confirm what the note says inside his head. Suddenly, his face sports a faint smile.
Isn't that something...?
He then pockets the folded piece of paper and exits the locker room, as the scene slowly fades to darkness.
As complete darkness is the only sound and picture shown, a voice of a news reporter then covers the silence.
News Reporter: Four people are currently in a local Seattle hospital in 'serious' conditions after being assaulted during a wrestling show. The attacker of the first three victims, who was identified as TnT wrestler Billy Dee, later became the fourth victim of an assault by controversial wrestler Nicholas Mills, who is facing suspension after his assault.
Local police released a statement just hours after the assaults, stating that 'a case has not been filed for these attacks and TnT Wrestling would not like any charges filed against wrestler Nicholas Mills nor Billy Dee.' The owner, Jimmy Vetalo, is said to be contemplating the future of wrestler Nicholas Mills and would not comment any further.
The voice dies out and the sound of silence once again plays over the dark screen.
Two Days After Sunday Mayhem
Opening at the TnT Towers located in Chicago, part owner Jimmy Vetalo has just finished giving his statement regarding the 'Dead End' event, and then asks for any more questions, as Erica is standing next to her husband's best friend. He points to one of the reporters who stands up and begins to speak, the question hanging on everyone else's lips.
Reporter: Have you reached a decision regarding the future of wrestler Nicky Mills in TnT Wrestling?
Jimmy seems happy that someone has asked this question and Erica goes to speak, but Vetalo motions for her not to, and seems to obviously want to say his next announcement. He clears his throat and speaks, a grin spreading across his face as he does so.
Jimmy Vetalo: I have investigated the events of Sunday Mayhem and obviously, things got out of control. My wife was injured in these assaults along with TnT reporter Cole Matthews and girlfriend of Michael Wilson, Madison.
I know who the attacker was now and he will be dealt with separately, but after the show, a serious assault took place in which this man was injured at the hands of the man who was indeed accused of these incidents, Nicky Mills. Nicky has absolutely no right to take matters into his own hands, even if he was indeed, accused of these assaults. I mean after all, we are not vigilantes, and we have to set a good example to our fans and our viewers, do we not?
So after much discussion with my fellow owner, Erica Perone, I hereby am suspending Ni...
Voice: I don't think so, Vetalo.
The reporters quickly spin their heads to see the man in question, 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills, holding a piece of paper in hand and sporting a pair of black sunglasses and a cream white suit. Vetalo and Erica both look taken aback as Nicky approaches the stage where the podiums sit. Vetalo and Erica look at each other, and then at Mills, who turns to the reporters, smiling.
Ladies and gentlemen, I have an announcement that you will all want to hear, and it is regarding the whereabouts of part owner Jeremy Cundiff, my tag team partner and best friend.
This announcement makes the reporters listen intently as Vetalo also seems intrigued, all eyes now focusing on the Eurasian champion.
He has decided to take a leave of absence. I don't exactly know where he is at this time, but all I know is that he is in good health.
Vetalo seems disappointed with this but his eyes are still locked onto Mills', who continues his speech.
But before he did so, he has given his stock to a new buyer. Well, not buyer exactly because you see, Cundiff didn't 'sell' his stock, but the stock now legally owns to this person. And ladies and gentlemen, I have here a signed contract declaring that the new part owner of TnT Wrestling is...
Nicky then opens up the piece of paper and holds it up for everybody to see. Vetalo looks absolutely horrified and is speechless, along with Erica. Mills then turns to Vetalo, not able to contain his happiness as what he is about to announce.
Your new partner is...ME! That's right, Jimmy, I am now your partner in this company. And to make it even better, I didn't have to pay a damn thing for my stock.
The press cant believe their ears and begin jotting down what has been heard, murmuring then begins to rise up as Mills pockets the piece of paper and proceeds to exit the room, leaving a shocked Vetalo and Erica as the scene slowly fades to darkness. 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills is the new part owner of TnT Wrestling, leaving the High Rollers dream of owning the entire company in shatters once again.
