Getting Down To Business

Opening to a black screen and nothing but the voice of a woman news reporter, who begins to speak.

News reporter: Police are asking citizens to be vigilant as it has been reported that a shooting occurred in 'Bamboo House' located in 2nd Avenue in New York City, which resulted in twenty deaths and two are reported to be in a stable condition. A person leaving the scene has been identified by police as Santonio Lunacchio, the son of the murdered 'Don' Vincent Lunacchio. Police have already linked this incident to the Lunacchio Family murders, as the entire family were wiped out in a massive gang war which erupted on the streets of New York. Police have issued an urgent arrest warrant for Santonio Lunacchio, and are urging the public not to approach the man at any costs, as he is considered armed and extremely dangerous. Anyone with any information on the latest Bamboo House Killings or the whereabouts of Santinio Lunacchio can contact their local police station.

The voice then fades out completely.

The scene directly opens to a room filled with chairs and a stage where a table is set, and microphones sat in a circle. Reporters occupy the seats, ready to hurl questions at the person, as this is obviously a press conference. A 'TnT Wrestling' logo stands above the room in clear view of everyone. However, the reporters then realise that the conference holder has arrived, and begin to crowd around and bark questions at the figure, who moves towards the table. The figures security guards push back the media as the figure, revealed to be 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills, walks towards the table and sits where the microphones are set. The media then become silent, knowing that the TnT wrestler has something to say.

'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills: Thank you all for coming on such short notice. I have an announcement and you can ask me your questions, as I know you always have many. Now, you may ask any questions you have.

Questions from across the room are shouted and Nicky then looks in the audience of reporters, then pointing to a figure and nods, and the man stands up and begins to speak to Mills.

Reporter: Donald Arian, CNN News. What is your reaction to the news of the wars breaking out in New York City regarding the Mafia killings and the entire slaughter of a family? Two CIA officers were also linked, and considering that the CIA have just dropped your case, and one of them was the head of your investigation, are there any links between you and these killings?

Nicky looks startled at the question, but leans forward into the microphones and speaks directly to the reporter.

Would you mind repeating that? I didn't quite catch that.

The reporter repeats the question, and Nicky takes a bottle of water and drinks it down before answering the question.

I was cleared of any wrongdoings by the Central Intelligence Agency. These killings are unfortunate, but I have never had any links with any Mafia family, and nor will I ever. I am a man who only involves himself with professional wrestling and Hollywood, and to be asked such an insulting question, it sickens me. If I was involved with these 'Mafia killings', the authorities would know by now. I will file a lawsuit against anyone that accuses me of having links, because they are untrue and could be damaging to my career. Does that answer your question?

The reporter is silenced and taken aback by Mills' reply and nods his head, then sits down. Nicky nods and points to another reporter who is stands up and begins to speak loudly to Mills over the murmuring voices.

Reporter #2: Candy Rodgers, Pro Wrestling Illustrated. This week on Mayhem, you will be in the Main Event in what is being called 'craziness'. You will be in the ring with five other men. New superstar 10 Minute Major, who has already had some harsh words for you referring to the earlier accusations, Xander Kross, your partner Jeremy Cundiff, Sean O'Callighan and Hardcore wrestler Bucky. At Glory however, you will main event the show against Mike Wilson in an 'Electric Chair' match. What is your response to this match?

Nicky laughs and takes another drink of water before beginning to speak to the reporter.

There are two men that stand any chance of winning. Jeremy Cundiff and Xander Kross. Two men I respect. Xander, because he isnt like those new guys like Mike 'Politics' Wilson and Billy Dee, that little punk who almost scuffed my boot and later spilled coffee on my tuxedo, which he will be paying for. Xander is actually a guy who WANTS to wrestle and is dedicated, and I like that. So I'll have fun meeting this guy. Any enemy of the High Rollers is a friend of mine, except for a small group. Bucky is just a moron who got famous because he hang out with Big Boss and Cappy. In the ring, he's like a mental patient on drugs, and because the guy goes and beats Dee, therefore, he's 'got a chance' in the match. This man will not win this match, and nor will 'The Irish One'. A boozing Irishman?

Now I've seen everything. 10 Minute Major however, is someone who I have lost respect for. I respect the mans talent, and wasnt going to say a bad word against him. Hell, I have no reason to. But he comes out and spouts his Canadian bullshit on me, and that really irritates me. He says I'm involved with the Mafia? Does he have any evidence? No. You see, these are people that make my life hard. Always accusing me. And so because he made this accusation against me, I am giving him until the end of the week to withdraw that accusation otherwise he will be hit with a million dollar lawsuit, which will leave him penniless. I am a business man, and after all, we are not communists.

The reporters laugh at this comment, and Nicky grins before continuing to speak to the reporters.

I mean, this man makes his first promo by digging himself a hole for himself? This is TnT Wrestling, and not the UwA. This company isn't run by a man who's had his ass kissed more times than a porn star. I know Major, and indeed he has some talent. But he questions mine, and yet again, has no evidence to suggest other than 'fucking up his title reign'. What next? What is the guy all ABOOT? Me and Jonny Fly are the best TnT has at this current time, including Jeremy Cundiff, and Major wants to try and talk his way into making people want to watch him? The disrespectful bastard, I'll damn well make sure I break his debut up. I'll break his neck and lock in a Legends Pain which will hurt so bad he'll wish he was dead. He is nothing, and I am everything. Enough of that cocky little fly. He sucks, EH!

The reporters burst into laughter at the impersonation of Major's catchphrase, and Nicky himself takes a laugh before speaking into the microphone.

Jeremy is a great piece of talent and me and him will once again fight. I don't mind fighting him, I mean, I say this again, we are businessmen, and we are doing business. People like us as a team, but the Nicky vs. Jeremy confrontations wont end. We're both talented guys, and we bring the house down. Now my announcement is that I understand Mark Drivlaine rejected my offer of a million dollars, so I am upping the offer to ten million dollars, refundable, so he doesnt fuck me over like he has. Now, if you excuse me ladies and gentlemen, I have some business to attend to.

Nicky stands up and walks away from the table, as the reporters still hound him with questions, but they fall on deaf ears, and the scene quickly fades into black.

Opening into an unknown location, but we see that where we are is rundown and obviously in deep need of repair, possibly abandoned. All we can hear is screams which are then muffed, and two men, seen as the bodyguards, dragging the man wanted by the police as Santonio Lunacchio. A wooden chair is seen set up in the middle of the room along with a tight short rope which is tied to the ceiling, which isn't very high, and at the end of the rope is a noose. A figure stands watching this along with another man, as Santonio is screaming for help and begging for mercy as it looks as if his bodyguards are traitors. As the men lift Santonio Lunacchio onto the chair, holding him so he doesn't move, the figure begins to speak coldly, his eyes as cold as ice, and the figure is revealed to be Nicky Mills.

I told you that I would kill the entire family. I didn't even know you existed, but you really signed your death warrant when you tried to kill me. Trying to assassinate me, you dumb bastard.

Santonio Lunacchio: Come on! Don't kill me, man! I'm sorry!

Why? You spared me no mercy, maggot. And so, I wont spare you no mercy. THIS will be the end of the Lunacchio Family. Your lucky I don't kill your son as well, but he isn't involved with your Mafia activates, and I am not as cruel as you think. No, you blew your chance to live and without your henchmen, your nothing. So you will die a painful death. You deserve it anyway.

NO! COME ON! YOU CANT DO THIS!

Who do you think tipped me off? When I was told of my 'fate', your bodyguards were offered money, and they told me everything. They failed to warn me of the assassination attempt, but you see, I was told of where you were, and now your a fucking deadman. The police will find you dead and assume that the last of the family was killed in a gang war, like they're reporting. Now, you dont deserve any last words, so now you die. Boys, let him suffer.

One of the men springs into action and kicks the wooden chair, as Santonio falls, his neck instantly thanks to the fall as the breaking of his neck is echoed across the warehouse. His eyes show one last attempt for forgiveness, but he slowly begins to die and realizes he has no hope. After a few moments, the man is no more, his eyes open but show no more movement, and one of the bodyguards checks the pulse, and nods his head to Mills.

Alright, let's get out of here. The jobs done.

The men then quickly exit the warehouse and the scene fades to darkness, as the very last of the Lunacchio Family is now dead.
