Legend vs. Legend Part I
PUT THE WEAPON DOWN NOW! YOU ARE UNDER ARREST!
That shout forever changed my life. This was the shout from an officer of the police that I was running from, running from a murder I had committed, retribution for a crime that was committed against my brother.
It had been three days earlier that my brother was telling me how he was about to put himself through sheer hell just for a World title belt. I could tell he was nervous, that he didn't want to go through with it, but I told him that his training was for nothing, and that he needed to beat the CWA champion 'Butcher' Jason Smith in order for his training to be complete.
I'm scared Nicky, I'm scared for my life.
And what was my fucking answer to that? I talked him round to going through with the brutal matchup, that he was guaranteed to win. Not only did my careless talk put him in a bad situation, it was a situation that was fatal for him. He died in the ring, and he couldn't be saved. The champion Howe ever, was not punished, due to the fact people believed it was an accident, that it was a stunt gone wrong.
Those scared eyes looked up at me, the emptiness he had as I looked at him for the last time before I would never see him again. Tonight I finally extracted my revenge, the revenge that I had been waiting for, and had lived for. My life focused around this revenge, that my life would only be worth it if I gained my retribution and murdered Jason Smith, the cold hearted bastard that had taken my brothers life.
CRACK!
The iron bar smacked across his skull, as he fell into a heap outside the blaring nightclub, where people saw what was happening and ran away, others tried to stop me, but stopped when I held a gun in their faces and threatened to pull the trigger. The bouncers stood cold, staring with fear as I slammed the bar across the battered face of the CWA champion, his scream ripping through my ears, but had no effect on me whatsoever. He looked up at me with mercy in his eyes, his fearless face had now turned into a face of fear.
Please.....let me live. It....was an accident. I beg of you!
You lying prick! You killed him! YOU FUCKING KILLED HIM!
CRACK!
He begged for his life, and he died at my hands. The last shot to his skull was the final blow to his evil life, as his skull hit the pavement at an incredible rate, the silence which filled the air, the silence of death had proclaimed the man who had spent his entire life making people's lives a misery. Suddenly the people around me leapt into action, as a fist hit me in the eye, but the pain didn't effect me, it made me more angrier. The bouncers were now attempting to stop me from escaping, as every bit of energy was being used to try and take me down. However, I escaped but was being followed by a police officer, who had pulled up in a cop car, the speed was now gaining faster as I attempted to climb a steel gate, and he followed.
Suddenly, I fell from the gate, my sight completely blurred as the officer grinned up at me and put me stomach first onto the ground, and handcuffed me. The cop cars crowded around the allyway, and several policemen grabbed me, making sure that I was not to escape this time. I definatly knew that this was one situation I wouldn't escape from, and that this time, it would be me who would be punished for the retribution.
Blackness finally fades to the sunny beautiful scenery of California, as the camera gets a birds eye view on the beach, people playing volleyball, families playing in the bright blue sea, and many things you would see on a beach. The scene switches to the front of the Californian mansion, known to be one of the properties of The Hollywood Icon, The Wrestling Legend, 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills. The camera slowly enters the mansion, as a butler opens the door, and directs the men through the giant hallway, and after walking to the end of the hallway, are directed through the door, which reads "Wrestling Gym".
Inside is a sight which must be beheld, as a large wrestling ring accompanies the middle of the room, and inside the ring, is 'The Outlaw', who is wearing a black vest and a pair of black tights, as he smiles and the other man in the ring prepares to grapple with him. Quickly, Nicky turns around and attempts to take down the mystery grappler, who quickly locks Mills in a chokehold. As if he expected this, Mills lifts him up and slams him down into an armbar position, as the man calls for a time out, and starts laughing.
Bastard! I didnt see that one coming.
Oh come on Damien, you got to be better than that.
Damien then flips to his feet and grapples with 'The Outlaw', as he shoves the Wrestling Legend into the turnbuckle and fires away with knife edge chops, as he then irish whips Mills to the opposite turnbuckle, but is taken down as Nicky flips off the turnbuckle and landing behind the running Damien, hits the grappler with a german suplex, and holds the bridge...
1...
2...
And a kickout. Damien holds his neck as he quickly attempts a superkick out of nowhere, but Nicky grabs the ankle and locks in an ankle lock, and then tricking the grappler, locks in his trademark submission maneuver, the Legends Pain.
Ahh! Ahh! Alright Mills, let go! Christ!
'The Outlaw' slowly releases the hold and smiles, as he helps his training partner to his feet, and the two hug as Damien clutches his back and slides out of the ring, shouting out to Mills in the distance:
Bastard! Next time?
Of coarse. Beating you has its satisfactions.
The Wrestling Legend, The Hollywood Icon, 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills notices that the camera crew have shown up, and smirks as he slides to the outside of the ring, smiling as he notices the TnT reporter, Cole Matthews, and running at him, sidesteps him and going behind him, locks in a playful chokehold.
Well Outlaw, is this how you meet all of your interviewers?
Cole, don't you see I'm trying to be friendly? I think you've been hanging around with Rollin Thunder too much, you've turned into a complete asshole.
Oh your too kind. Where do you want to have this interview?
Upstairs, I have a spare lounge up there. Set up your stuff in the room and I'll be up in a second.
The camera crew go across the hallway and climb a flight of stairs, as 'The Outlaw' walks away from the camera, the scene fading to a black.
Hello everybody, this is Cole Matthews, and I am currently in the Californian mansion of the self proclaimed Hollywood Icon and Wrestling Legend, 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills, who has granted an interview with us to talk about his current status and his dream matchup, the match that a lot of us have wanted to see for a very long time, and that is currently sold out due to the popularity that this match is bringing. I don't think it's out of my reach to say that Nicky Mills versus Nic Totopolous is the match that many wrestling fans are dying to see.
'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills is seen sitting on a black leather couch, his legs resting on the table, as he simply nods his head and smiles, as Cole Matthews continues.
Now you have faced many men in the wrestling company, legends such as Ric Flair, Bret Hart, and Shawn Michaels. Now this is a giant test for you as you step into the ring with the UwA and TnT legend, Nic Totopolous, and this is truly a match fans are dying to see. If you win this, the winner will meet either Lyricz, who you recently made submit to the Legends Pain, or Rollin Thunder, a man you have also beat in the past and have some history with. What must be going through your mind as you begin to train for this epic encounter?
TnT Mayhem, Sunday May 9th 2004, in the second match of the evening, the Hollywood Icon, The Technical Wonder, the Wrestling Legend, 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills will step into the ring against another legend known as Nic Totopolous, who has finally returned to the wrestling ring, This is the encounter that fans are dying to see, and they can either see it live, in person, or watch it free on the TnT Wrestling channel. The atmosphere will be electrifying, as the man sitting right here undergoing a difficult training procedure, will face a legend in professional wrestling. Unlike the other bastards in TnT and UwA, unlike that self proclaimed star like Jonny Fly, who recently did what he did best, and that's ranting.
I actually respect Nic Totopolous. Although I hate this company, and believe me, I will see it burn to the ground with me as the last man standing, Nic happens to be the man who I respected throughout. I made some harsh comments towards the guy, but he's not crippled now, is he? He pulled the wool over everyone's eyes, including mine, and that takes guts. I did the same thing, and today everyone hates me because I speak the truth about America and it's evil roots. I mean, look at the tortured troops, they are being beaten by the stupid bastards that the Army are, risking their lives because George W Bush had to think of a reason to waste thousands and millions of pounds just to get rid of Saddam Hussein. Nic Totopolous in my eyes, deserves even my respect, and that's pretty damn hard to get. He's a man who since I entered the business, I have wanted to wrestle for some time.
And now I am finally getting the chance. And people damn know this is going to be a classic match, because already the Georgia arena in Atlanta is sold out, and 'The Outlaw' knows that it isn't because Cundiff will get a rematch with Krisis, or the fact that Lyricz, the man who submitted last week, will face Rollin Thunder. No gentlemen, Legend vs. Legend is going to be a talked about match which will go down into the history books as the most awaited match in TnT history. Yes, I mean anything which had Jonny Fly involved, because we all know that his reputation is self proclaimed, while the evidence of mine surrounds me, baby!
However, Nic Totopolous made a very grave mistake, and that is he actually believes he's going to beat me. I don't know the outcome, but I don't like it when guys guarantee their success, and that is something the legend will regret saying when I put him through the worst hell he's ever sustained in his wrestling career. He is going to be pushed to the limits on this one, he's going to need every trick he has up his sleeve in order to beat me and pin me in that very ring, because 'The Outlaw' does not tap out, nor will he ever. And there's something else on my mind, because I know that Ghetto Bitch number 6 known as Lyricz will be looking for payback somehow, since he submitted to the Legends pain last week. Lyricz, if you even come near the ring during the match, I will beat you within an inch of your life, and I guarantee that because I almost did it to you last week, and I damn sure will not hesitate to deliver a well deserved beating on your pathetic ass, so do what's best and stay away from the greatest match ever devised in TnT.
And then once me and Nic have the grand match everyone wants to see, whoever wins will be meeting the winner of Rollin 'UwA and TnT Failure' versus Ghetto Bitch Lyricz. I would love it if I finally beat the man I respected, and move onto the Eurasian title, which I'm also guaranteed to win anyway. You think Thunder stands a chance against me? Our last match proves he didn't stand a chance against my athletic ability, my larger than life wrestling knowledge, and the fact that I could beat him any day of the week, and he doesn't like that. Rollin, if you win and I win, run for your life, because you will be just another victim on the "TnT casualties", which Lyricz is already on at the moment.
Now if you excuse me gentlemen, I have to attend an interview, so please excuse me.
And with that simple statement, Cole Matthews tells the camera to switch off, which does so, as the scene fades to complete black.
