Countdown to the Mayhem
Opening downstairs in the restaurant and bar area which is absolutely crowded with people eating and drinking. Some people are businessmen, some are families on holiday, and others are just wrestling fans in town to watch Sunday Mayhem, which will feature a TnT World Heavyweight title match between 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills and 'Big' Jimmy Vetalo. The camera is watching as Tim Divine, a wrestling commentator in TnT Wrestling, is waiting for someone.
The opposite chair is empty and the cutlery and menu's are already in place. Suddenly, heads turn as the contender for the World title at Mayhem, Nicky Mills, is seen entering the restaurant in a black tuxedo. Some of the fans look on in pure awe and others just simply stare at the also known Hollywood actor, who looks around for Tim and then finds him. The two men shake hands before sitting opposite each other, as the waiters ask people to get back to their meals and not to disturb them.
Tim Divine: Nicky, how you feeling?
Mills grins back at him and takes a second before answering him.
On top of the world.
The waiter approaches them and both men begin to order their meals. 'The Outlaw' orders his food but the camera cant pick up what he orders, but we know that he orders champagne. Tim orders an appetizer and a glass of white wine. Tim looks at Mills oddly and speaks up quickly.
You're ordering champagne?
It's a celebration, right? I mean, this is IT! The big one. World title on the line and such, there's no way I can truly lose.
Well, Jimmy's a tough guy. I wouldn't get cocky too early.
You know, your right. The guy has already estimated me as a loser, and I don't want to make the same mistake that he does. I'm ready for anything though.
Okay. I first of all want to ask you why you interfered in the Vetalo and Nephylim match last Mayhem. Some people deemed it un-necessary.
Why didn't you ask me that before? Why only NOW do you ask me? But okay, I'll answer it. I have absolutely nothing against this Nephylim guy. He's a good guy, although very ugly, and he had Vetalo beat. But you see, I held the key to the match. If I hadn't had interfered, Vetalo would have lost cleanly in the middle of the ring. I saved Jimmy Vetalo from a clean pin. So he has me to thank. But I also did it because as much as this Nephylim guy had him beat, Nicky Mills is going to give Jimmy a wrestling lesson. Not just an ordinary lesson however, I will show him how it feels to be on the receiving end for a change. And I couldn't let this Nephylim guy get the win before me. Then it wouldn't have hurt as much as it will come Mayhem.
Let's talk about your history. Would you class this match as being the most important in your career?
Nicky begins laughing and slaps Tim on the shoulder before smiling and then speaking again.
Maybe. I've had tougher opponents such as Nic Totopoulous. That Ironmatch match was the most important. THAT was important because if I had lost, I would have let a man that had threatened to 'terminate' me actually do it. No, I couldn't let that happen. Minds Eye was a big ugly sadistic bastard. Jeremy Cundiff was a psychopath when I unleashed that streak in him, which resulted in the best feud of the year.
But then on the other hand, my last title reign was disastrous. I'll be the first to admit that. I wasn't in a right frame of mind then. You see, after that bullshit with Rollin Thunder who spread a bunch of his lies along with the man I'm currently facing, I was in a dangerous position. I couldnt get anywhere without people saying "You won because of the Dynasty." and such. But that cant happen now. I also won the title in the most stupidest of circumstances. That damn idiot Alexi Draconis interfered and basically won the match for me. I was pissed off about that, but that's life for you. It didnt motivate me much either when Vetalo beat me. See, at that time, everything was just bullshit. But now everything's changed.
How so?
Don't be stupid. First of all, I wont need help. I can take out the interfering High Rollers, Rollin Thunder and Xander Kross. Kross has to know that he'll always be number three in the High Rollers. When Stonehart and Reed Harrington fought for the title in a good main event, Thunder and Vetalo turned on them and weaselled their way into a World title shot, which started the greatest title reign ever in the history of TnT Wrestling.
Are you being sarcastic?
No. Of coarse I'm being sarcastic, you moron! It will always be Rollin Thunder and Jimmy Vetalo. Those two are joined to the hip as far as being around each other are concerned. Xander will be pushed aside eventually, and he has to understand that. Otherwise, it will be the biggest career mistake of his life. Help wont be needed in this match. And unlike the last two contenders, Mike Wilson and Ten Minute Major, I'm not afraid of that piece of crap trying anything. He wants to cheat to beat me, fine. I'll reverse it and hit him harder than he's ever felt in his entire life. See, there's nothing that can stop me now. Thunder's going to cry like a bitch when Baxter and Rogers destroy him. One Winged Angel doesn't need Rollin, and never has. Rollin's probably the worst partner he can have.
So with this match being the most anticipated in a long time, the hatred between you and Jimmy has been rather high. It seems the two of you will never be friends.
Vetalo hates everyone except Thunder and that disgusting ugly glass shattering gold digging bitch known as Katrina. Ugh, I think she's visited the plastic surgeon so much she's the new Michael Jackson of plastic surgery. But that can also be said for Erica. No, the fact is that Vetalo and I will never ever respect each other. I can't respect the fact that he cant wrestle for shit, has a hard time dealing with the truth, and is a politics bitch. He probably hates me because I can wrestle better than him, have more talent and charisma than him and didn't pay shit for my share in TnT Wrestling. Hey, I'm still sitting on top of my profits from when I owed UwA. But money doesn't matter anymore, and that's something he has a hard time dealing with. His world title is a complete joke now, and only I can take it and make it a wrestling title again.
If you won the World title, who would you want to face regarding the tournament winner?
Eric Baxter.
Wow, that was quick. Why?
I'm so sick of that guy complaining. "Wah I was robbed by Mills. One Winged Angel sprayed me and he helped his tag partner." I respect Eric as an athlete and he's certainly proved he can come back in style. But he lost. And all he's done is complain to anyone who will listen. Or in Vetalo terms, 'piss moan'. He lost, and I won. He hates me so much, it eats him up. To be honest, I don't know what the guy's problem is. Me and One Winged Angel were not a tag team, yet he continues to preach it. Yawn. Cry yourself a river so the poor people can drink your pathetic tears.
See, I was always more successful than Eric Baxter not only as a wrestler, but as an overall person. I sold out Hollywood and I'm the most watched wrestler in TnT Wrestling and generally in professional wrestling. He cant handle that, no matter how many times he's held a world title or been in the 'Hall of Fame', Baxter will be number two compared to 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills. He's a good wrestler, but no offence, he aint no Nicky Mills and he isn't a Technical Wonder like myself. Just to beat him one on one just to shut up him, that's enough for me to pick him. Alternatively, I wouldn't mind facing One Winged Angel. Another guy who I have some unfinished business with that's stemmed from a long time ago.
Now, let's switch back to Jimmy Vetalo. I've heard you have been training hard to face him.
I'm not underestimating him. He MAY suck as a wrestler but he's dangerous in the ring. I mean, he and Thunder are proud that they ended the career of Reed Harrington. Reed was a pain in the ass and a loudmouth, but damn. I don't want to walk in there and have Vetalo break my neck and then brag about it in an interview. Nah, that aint going to be the case. I'm not risking my career just to have my career ended at his hands.
Because Vetalo is a poor wrestler and that ego has been etched inside his brain, I have to watch myself. Last week, the guy broke kayfaybe and I responded in a shoot. This is a wrestling show, but Jimmy has become so personal about anyone going near his World title he'll literally do anything to keep it on him. And THAT is why I'm training hard to face him. Also, he already thinks that because he's beaten me before, that he can beat me again. What a loser. That's a bad technique right there. Anyone who underestimates their opponent is already on the road to loss. Want to guess who had the same kind of mindset?
Who?
Mike Furious. Always talking and never doing it. And where is he? Nowhere. He used office politics to get where he was at. If Vetalo continues to think like Furious, there's no question he'll lose.
Okay. So your gunning hard to take the belt from him.
I'm not Mike Wilson. I'm not One Winged Angel. I'm not Major or Thunder or Mike Graham, but I bet you he'll compare me to him somehow, because that's his promo technique, to humiliate that opponent by trash talking. But that's what he's doing, trash talking. Talking trash. I talk truth and goodness, he talks nothing but self promotion and kissing the ass of Thunder. It's a shame because he's always been like that.
In UwA, he was Triple X, the trash talking self promotion ass kisser who sucked up to Mark Drivlaine. International Incident were on top and he begged the current owner, which was some wannabe promoter, that he deserved the chance. He got a bye against Mirror and then when he faced me, had the match won thanks to Minds Eye. Yes, if it wasn't for him, he would have been down and out and would have never gone near the World title.
I remember that.
Right, and then I cost Minds Eye the match. And then he LOST his match to Trinitas, a much deserving champion. What happened? He moaned and pulled a 'Rollin Thunder' to get the belt back. Yes, Drivlaine was very giving back then. It resulted in one of the most disastrous reigns in the United Wrestling Alliance. THAT is all it takes to show he was never going to be a true champion. And then he won the belt from Jeremy.
Granted, he won that fairly. I wont take that away from him. Second time..um..I forget how he won that. Shows what an impact he made. The third time, his most recent, was by pinning his running partner, Rollin Thunder. Oh, what an achievement that is. Yeah, have a cookie for being such a loser.
His contenders have been Mike Wilson, Major and...Mike Graham. Please. He's holding a tag belt he hasn't defended in months while Thunder holds a belt that's got no contenders or anything for it. They should just trash that belt now. It has no honour anymore. Vetalo brags about holding the belt for the longest, but he's been defending it against the SAME guy for weeks, Mike Wilson. What the fuck? No, his reign has been one big joke that's just become not very funny. It's the same old joke over and over again. So now it's my obligation to take it from him and put some credibility back into it. To not only end his little 'no loss' reign and burst his ego bubble, but to maybe, just maybe, show him the error of his ways. But it's too late for forgiveness.
How important is winning the TnT World Heavyweight championship?
Very. That title needs to change hands to a more deserving technical athlete such as myself. To lead the new generation of wrestlers into an era of WRESTLING. This whole company has become the laughing stock thanks to Vetalo's ownership. It doesnt help that the current commissioner, who I thought was dead...
Heart attack, wasn't it?
Yeah. How weird is that? Maybe he just survived and nobody got told about it. Anyway, he's owned by Jimmy. So it's not very gratifying knowing that the commissioner is in his back pocket. But don't worry, because that doesn't matter. If I win, he wont get this title back. No more title shots for Mr Jimmy Vetalo. Yeah, he can try and survive without a World title around his waist for a change.
The tournament winner will get it automatically. He can just take a front row seat to the action, sit back, and watch a true champion do it in style. Vetalo isn't my toughest opponent though, sorry to say. He's no Nic Totopoulous and he definatly isn't a Sean Segrada. So the match is a technical superior athlete versus a clumsy cocky ego inflated loser? Tell me, who wins? I do. The technical superior athlete has it in the bag, ladies and gentlemen.
Any last words for Jimmy Vetalo, the current champion?
Yeah, don't bother trashtalking me, I wont listen to any of it. I mean, a migraine before the match wont help me, will it?
Tim laughs at the comment and as if on cue, the waiter brings the two gentlemen their meals along with their drinks. Mills grins and salutes the camera as the scene slowly fades to darkness.
A Confrontation...
*Note*: The following is not to be viewed in any way, shape or form.
Opening just a few hours after the interview set up by Tim Divine, a TnT Wrestling commentator for World title contender 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills, we look outside the modernized fitness suite where a large seven foot man steps out from the double doors of the gym. This man is otherwise known as codename 'Smith', but his identity is not know to the readers.
He is currently wearing a baseball cap which is then topped off by a white hooded jumper with the hood put over his head so nobody can tell who he is, and his face is merely in darkness. A few moments later, his business partner 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills comes out from the gym. He is wearing a tank top along with a baseball cap and a pair of black Nike shorts. Walking to the elevator, the two men then get on the empty lift and press the button 'Floor 6' as the elevator begins to ascend.
How did that feel, big man?
Good to do that again after such a long time.
Cool, huh? But you couldn't lift what you wanted to. Oh well, just keep working at it and you'll be fit in no time.
Look man, thanks for letting me wrestle.
Aint a problem, Smith. Ah, here's our stop.
The elevator is slowly approaching 'Floor 6' and then stopping completely, the door slowly open as the two men step out and head towards their suite. As the two men walk down the hallway however, a hotel door swings open in the distance and the man seen coming out of it makes the two men turn their heads in surprise.
The man is shown to be One Winged Angel, otherwise formerly known as Jeremy Cundiff. The two men walk past him, and One Winged Angel doesn't even bat an eyelid or utter a word as he continues to walk down the corridor. However, Mills cant contain his laughter, and suddenly bursts out laughing. One Winged Angel stops dead in his tracks while Nicky has his back to the wall trying to contain his laughter. OWA turns around to stare at Mills and 'Smith', and Nicky is now smiling and looking back.
One Winged Angel: Something funny?
Oh shit, Smith. We better run, he might cast a fucking summon on us or something. Seriously, how do you expect to get any pussy dressed up like THAT?
Ha ha ha! I'm not the one who dresses in pink tights.
'Smith' begins laughing himself while Nicky even cracks a smile and shakes his head.
Man, you need to lighten up a little. What happened to the Jeremy Cundiff who smoked his pot and said his prayers? He was cool.
Dead and buried.
Shame. I've never had so much fun smoking pot in my entire life. And I didn't even smoke until he showed me. Man, Smith, I tell you the time me and Jeremy rolled into a neighbourhood full of black thugs and played that Snoop Dog and Pharrell song 'Drop It Like It's Hot' and I was completely out of it. I basically started mocking them and they started shooting at us. Man, that was such fun to do.
He was a loser like you then. And who the hell is this big bastard? I'm not surprised though, you've always needed help when it comes to fights or confrontations, eh Mills?
Until now, 'Smith' has been rather quiet and hasn't said a word. He raises his head but his face still isnt revealed. However, a trace of a grin can be seen when he begins to speak.
I'm a blast from the past, little man.
At the end of the sentence, One Winged Angel stops completely and his eyes widen in horror. He takes a step back as if in fear and he seems to be remembering something. Mills and 'Smith' look on in confusion as the scene fades to darkness.
