Killing The Rat

The scene slowly opens in an abandoned warehouse somewhere on the outskirts of Las Vegas, Nevada. In the black sky of the noisy night are shining white stars which also shine out along with the large milky coloured moon. The noise of engines from vehicles echo across the silence of the night.

Slowly switching from the birds eye view and the outside warehouse view to inside the actual building, it is obvious that the warehouse is certainly worse for wear. Vulgar graffiti covers the inside walls which have been worn away and the remains of the pieces of wall are scattered everywhere, from where they have fallen. A slight breeze fills the warehouse because of the many broken and completely shattered windows. Empty beer cans, vodka bottles, and used cigarette butts cover the concrete floor of the warehouse.

A figure is laid out in the centre of the room, a pool of blood surrounds the person who has taken a beating from someone. The persons eyes are glazed over as the person can be identified as a short black haired male, his hair now stained with fresh blood from himself. Trying to raise himself to his feet, he falls back down again, some short grunts coming from him, but yet screams as blood continues to drip from his blood-caked face.

His leg is shaped awkwardly and it seems that the leg has been broken. Four men stand around him, delivering kicks and punches to the man, who absorbs the blasts of each shot and groans. When a soccer kick is delivered to his abdomen, the man begins coughing up blood which joins the pool of blood that surrounds him. Standing further away however from the three men, are two gentlemen who are wearing grey suits that stand out in the background of the warehouse. The business associates of 'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills, who is the head of a large drugs business around America and were involved in a recent all out war with The Golatti' family, which they won successfully and stole six million dollars in cash from their casino before setting it on fire and burying it to the ground.

'The Baron' and 'Smith' are watching the beating that is taking place before their eyes and are looking at the third person. Their faces are covered with black masks to protect their identity. 'Smith' towers over his business partners and walks up to the three men beating away at the beaten down man. Holding his arms out for the men to back off, they do so and step back so 'Smith' can get access to the man, who is holding onto the trouser leg with blood stained hands.

The giant man kicks him away and lifting his leg, slams his foot into the broken leg. A loud piercing scream echo's in the warehouse while his two businessmen merely sneer. A loud creek of a door opening echo's along with the man's screams and all heads quickly turn as Nicky Mills steps into the warehouse wearing a black tuxedo with his black hair hanging on his shoulders. He is watching with admiration and then slowly walks towards 'Smith' with an almost evil grin painted on his face. While the man on the ground winces in pain and the other gangsters looking on along with 'The Baron', Mills turns himself to the towering man to speak.

'The Outlaw' Nicky Mills: I think that's enough. Don't you?

'Smith' nods his head in agreement and steps away from the bloodied and beaten down person. Mills approaches the man and takes something from his jacket pocket, which we identify as a gun fitted with a silencer. The large right hand man of Nicky steps further away so that his boss can fire the weapon at the beaten down man. However, he doesn't fire the gun, but instead places it back into his jacket pocket. The man gives a big sigh in relief and is lying on his back while the blood continues to pour from his face.

I'm only sparing you for one second. You know something, and you have ten seconds to tell me about the Golatti's plans before I put a bullet right through your eye. Tell me, why did you betray me?

The man lying on the ground opens his eyes and his voice has a large hint of panic in it, his breathing becoming more heavier and his movement is jerky and suspicious, possibly from being nervous.

Man: I didnt betray you!

BULLSHIT! It was YOU that told the Golatti's EXACTLY where our shipment was coming from, and where exactly it was going to go. We did a little checking on you. A former police officer for the Las Vegas Police Department? You fucking narc.

You have to believe me! I went away from all that! I...

The entire Golatti family is dead. I won. Now, you can either pay for your sins, or tell me everything. I dont want to kill you. Well, to be truthful, I do, but I've taken too many lives. I am what you call...a mass murderer. And yet you betrayed me?

'Smith': He isnt going to talk. Kill him.

I'll give you one more chance. Admit your wrongdoings and I'll spare you.

I NEVER BETRAYED YOU! YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME! I'M NOT THE RAT!

Wrong answer. But I'm not going to kill you...

The man lies his head back and tries to move away, taking the show of mercy as a sign to leave, but he completely stops in horror when Nicky doesn't move his body except for his right arm which has the silenced pistol in the palm of his hand. 'Smith' takes the gun and aims it at the man lying on the ground. Mills then sneers and walks towards 'The Baron' and the other man, but speaks while making his journey across the warehouse.

He is.

Three bullet shots quietly ring out across the warehouse, and the aura of silence then takes its place. The man is no longer moving and his breathing has stopped. Only the constant dripping of blood continues from his limp body. 'Smith' places the gun in his pocket and walks towards the direction Mills was walking in. 'The Baron' has watched the killing but seems unaffected by it and sighs when he talks to 'Smith and Nicky, while the other men only wait for direct orders on what to do next with the body.

'Smith': You just enjoy the thrill of killings, don't you?

He sold us out to the Golatti's. You don't expect me to be pissed off about it? Thank god Smith here caught him talking to one of their hoods, otherwise he probably would have tried to kill us after we capped all his friends.

And the fact that he used to be a cop. You know, he had the blood of a rat.

So where the hell have you been all week, Mills? Not even a call or a letter. Not at any of your mansions. You disappeared...

I know. Had to sort out a few things in private.

Huh? With who?

No offence gentlemen, but that's none of your concern.

We're your business partners, and you disappeared on us. On everybody. But you told Rian Callaway that you were going to be away.

Yes, it would have been stupid not to turn up to a show that I wasn't going to show up to. But you see, I don't care whether I missed out on the World title.

You have a plan, I suspect.

Of coarse. Until this stuff with the God's Disciples blew over, I wanted to keep it under wraps. It's the perfect opportunity to not even have to fight for it.

Smart. So, what now?

Let's burn the body and dump it somewhere. I want you two to take control of my business for a week or so. I have to get back into training and such. And I need privacy while I do so.

Sure. You'll keep in contact, right?

Of coarse I will. I'll see you later.

Nicky grins and claps fists with 'Smith' and 'The Baron' and then begins to walk out of the warehouse while the three men, not including the two business partners of Mills, begin to move the body of the man that 'Smith' just shot dead. The scene then fades to complete darkness.

TnT PPV Avengement: The Ironman Aftermath

*Note*: The following CAN be viewed. The second page is also viewed as well.

Backstage at the Staples Centre in Las Vegas, California, the arena which housed the event known as TnT Avengement. Numerous wrestlers and staff members are watching on a small monitor the Iron-Man mach ending, and cheer when Mills picks up the win over Nic Totopoulous. Their eyes are glued when the entire Disciples stable are seen beginning to walk towards the ring from nowhere, and they continue to watch the monitor, perplexed at what they just saw.

Wrestlers such as Macintosh Rogers, Eric Baxter, Mike Wilson and Jesse Westcoat are seen gathering around as they watch the events take place in the ring, and seeing Mills shake the hands of every Disciple, including Billy Dee. Baxter shakes his head and walks away while the others look rather shocked.

A camera and Cole Matthews are on standby to interview the Disciples and Mills. The other wrestlers are watching the curtain when the entire God's Disciples stable walk through, and Nic Totopoulous walks through behind them. The wrestlers give Nic a standing ovation, who motions for the others to go on ahead without him. As they walk away, Matthews runs up with a microphone in hand and begins speaking quickly. The other wrestlers look on and still clap and applaud Totopoulous for his efforts in the Iron Man.

Cole Matthews: Nic! Nic! Sir, that was probably one of the greatest matches I have ever seen. But how are you feeling about your loss to Nicky Mills?

Totopoulous turns and looks at Matthews with a stare before walking away towards the direction that his team-mates went in. Nicky Mills suddenly walks through the curtain at around the same time holding the Eurasian championship. The wrestlers gather around and give Mills applause for winning the match. Wilson walks up to Mills and shakes his hand, along with Macintosh Rogers, and Jesse Westcoat. Matthews then runs up with the microphone, and the camera locked onto the exhausted looking Mills.

Nicky Mills, you have successfully retained the Eurasian championship in what I've just witnessed as the greatest match ever in TnT Wrestling. But, I have to ask... After what the Disciples have put you through for the last few months, why did you shake their hands?

'The Outlaw' takes a bottle of water from a staff member and takes a large dose of it before pouring the rest on himself. He then looks at Matthews and begins to speak, still getting his breath back, but with a look of pride.

I did everything I had to do, Matthews. I just wrestled the best match of my life, and who gives a shit? I beat Nic Totopoulous and settled everything. So... yeah, I shook the guys hands. There's nothing wrong with that, right?

Well, no but...

Matthews, it doesn't matter anymore. I just wrestled one of the best technical wrestlers apart from me to step into TnT Wrestling. We just put on the greatest show EVER! It doesn't matter about titles or money, or even fame. No, what matters is that I just put everything I had against Nic in thirty minutes of non stop action. We tore the house down in the best match ever. That's something that the High Rollers... can never do.

The group of wrestlers laugh at this comment as Mills then taps Matthews on the shoulder and begins to walk away into the distance towards the hallway as the scene slowly fades to darkness.
