April Attack III

Part I: 'The Explanation'

*Note*: The first part of this roleplay is viewed by the audience. The parts from the locker room until the very end of the roleplay however, are not viewed in any way shape or form.

The scene opens backstage at Mayhem, just after the greatest occurrence in the history of TNT Wrestling, and that was Nicky Mills finally achieved his true dream. He took the World title in a great match against Nic Totopoulous, possibly one of the best ever in the history of the entire company.

Even though the moment was kind of taken away by the gate crashing of the One Winged Angel and his two new partners, the celebrations are still continuing. Mills is holding both the Eurasian and the World championship in the air with both of his arms and the crowd are cheering like crazy. Finally, after everything he has been through, he has finally captured the main championship just after the High Roller' departure. For everyone who doubted him, they have been shut up with this sight. All the downers in his career were merely roadblocks for him to overcome and after his first title reign, he has finally managed to take his second World title by beating probably one of the greatest wrestlers alive.

Christian Williams stands up from commentary just after Mayhem has gone off the air and walks into the ring. Mills notices this and looks over at him and offers his hand. Andrea Williams then walks down the aisle along with Cid Clearwater and all congratulate him on his victory with a handshake. Christian gives him a hug and then lifts him onto his shoulders where Nicky holds both of the titles to a roaring applause. Putting him down, confetti falls down the ceiling and the beats of 'Mosh' by Eminem still continue to play. Nicky is still in awe and then notices that Nic Totopoulous has returned from the back and is in the ring. For a second, the two men are staring at each other and nobody knows what to expect.

Nic smiles and gives his opponent a hug, as the crowd are warmed at this respect and the sight of the TNT legend holding up the arm of Mills with the belt is truly a great sight in the history of the company. Tim and Kraig have joined Mills in the ring and shake his hand and 'The Outlaw' then goes to the turnbuckle and holds up both the Eurasian and the World championship belt. But then everything is silenced when none other than Eric Baxter appears at the ramp, and Nicky notices this and turns to look at his confirmed opponent for April Attack III.

Eric continues to look into the ring while everyone is looking over at him now. Baxter points at himself and makes a gesture for the championship and a grin appears over his face while Mills stands in the ring looking over. Baxter then begins clapping and then makes his way towards the back. The combatants for TNT Mayhem have been made official now, and with One Winged Angel as the special referee, things are about to pick up. Could Nicky Mills have the shortest reign in history, or will he be able to beat his first challenger and set his title reign in stone? The scene then slowly fades to darkness with the scene of Mills still celebrating inside the ring with the newly won World championship.

The scene opens backstage with people beginning to leave the Staples Arena, but are still talking about the historic moment of Mills winning the championship for the second time in his career. Nicky is fresh from his match in his locker room suite with both of the championships, the Eurasian and the World belt slung on the table. Now dressed in a TNT tee shirt and a pair of jeans with his black sunglasses, he seems to be in an excited mood and begins whistling a tune while taking a drink of water and looking at himself in the mirror. He finally did it, he says to himself, his eyes then gliding to the championship belts he has and he smiles. He finally conquered the world. He showed Nic Totopoulous that he was better than him, yet he has been the toughest technical opponent he has ever faced in his life.

Nothing can stop him now, the thought continues to glow inside his mind. Suddenly, the door swings open and none other than Travis Williams, codename 'Smith', is standing in the doorway. He takes off his baseball cap and the identity mask so we can see his face. A large smile appears on his face and he begins to laugh, while Nicky does so and the two men embrace in a hug. Travis pats him on the back and looks over at the title belts.

Travis Williams AKA 'Smith': You did it, kid. You finally showed the world...

Mills nods his head and he opens his mouth for the first time since he won the championship.

Nicky Mills: I still cant believe it. I did it without interference or bullshit this time. It's my time, but I've got one problem. Next week is Eric Baxter.

He's a joke. Come on, you really think he can beat you? Man, he still believes his own hype.

I can't underestimate him, but I won't look at the fact he can beat me. I aint losing this belt to him, and that's a damn promise. This week, he's getting the best of me.

YES! That's what I want to hear. That needs to be your mindset. Don't ever contradict yourself. Never. Your Nicky Mills, TNT's World champion. Fuck him and his bullshit. He doesn't have a life anymore. He's not the man I saw in UWA.

Your right. But I'll trashtalk him later. Right now...hey....what are we doing?

I'm taking YOU down to the party, my friend. Take a night off.

Baron contact us?

No. I still think he's trying to get in contact with Fly. Oh, we have other problems though.

We do?

Rodrigo Sanchez is pissed about that stunt we pulled on him. But he knows his gang wont be able to do shit about it. They're too weak against us. The families

Travis... I've got something to show you. Well, tell you. Do you remember the seven million dollar heist we did on the Golatti's casino?

Yeah, kinda weak for a casino, don't you think?

Well, that just happens to be the good part. There was more money, but I couldn't tell you until now. That was only part of it. We took the funds from the casino but it's taken a while for us to be able to get the money out safely so I didn't tell you and Baron until now. Anyway, that seven million dollars is yours to keep.

Travis, who was taking a bottle of water and sipping on, almost spits it out with shock. He manages to swallow it and his eyes widen as he stares at Mills

What?! Holy... are you kidding me?

Baron gets seven million too, giving that total fourteen million for both of you.

So how much did we take from the..?

Eighty three million dollars.

Williams is silent and it takes a while for him to put that number in his head in pure shock. Mills makes sure anyone isn't listening and then begins to speak once again.

The cops wont say anything because it'll bring more attention to the heist. But listen, be real careful now. We have the families watching us, including that damn Robert Burke. I just hope we can get Jonny out of there. That's why we can't take New York. We can deal there, just we have to do it without being caught. He's a complete psychopath.

Is he that bad?

He's a damn asshole, that's for sure.

Hey, you shouldn't worry about that right now. You just won the World title! Let's go and celebrate!

Okay, let's get the fuck out of here. I've got a party to go.

Nicky takes the title belts and puts them inside his bag and slings it over his right shoulder. Travis inserts his baseball cap and puts his hood over his head before both men head out of the door, as the scene slowly fades to darkness.

Darkness has fallen in an unknown location but we can only tell that where we are was quite a beautiful home, only it has fallen in rather terrible disrepair. Obviously from the police searching for evidence, the entrance shows that plants have been destroyed and are strewn all over the floor, vases smashed and the furniture turned over in other rooms. Large gaping holes in walls are seen while we continue to travel around the large house, we can hear footsteps coming from the staircase and four men beginning to walk up the stairs and walk towards a door, then opening it and staring into what has become of that room, with the lights switched off still but the shadow outline obviously showing that things have destroyed in this room.

It looks to have originally been an office but the room is unrecognizable. The desk has been turned over and papers are scattered all across the floor. The man in the middle of the two men steps forwards and surveys the damage that has destroyed what looks like to be his house, while the other two men, probably bodyguards, are looking on.

Unknown: Turn on the light.

One of the bodyguards flicks the light switch and the light shows everything that has happened in the room. The cupboards have fallen onto the ground with the things on them smashed and ruined, such as pictures and decorations. The fat but recognizable man is Don Vincent Lunacchio, thought to be deceased Mob family boss as a result of the Dynasty attack of the family by Nicky Mills and Jonny Fly. One side of his face has been burnt to unrecognising and the side that has been burnt has a popping eyeball. The other side is covered with scars of bullet wounds.

His eyes then divert to a picture that is on the floor, and we go in for a closer look. It is a holiday picture of Don Lunacchio with his son, Santino Lunacchio, also was known as 'Sonny'. He was killed after the wake of the Lunacchuo killings for attempting a hit on the life of one of the assailants, Nicky Mills. The large man begins to cry and his tears fall onto the cupboard. The bodyguards do not move and suddenly flinch while the Don clenches his fist and smashes a giant hole right into the remains of the cupboard. Despite being a very injured and old man, the force of the punch scares the bodyguards and they slowly move away.

Don Lunacchio: My son...they took away...MY SON!

He goes into a rage and begins to constantly attack the cupboard wood with his fists, but stops when he is out of breath. By then, the cupboard is in pieces and large cracks appear. The former boss looks up with tears forming in his eyes at his two bodyguards and standing up, looks out of the large window into the black night.

I...shouldn't have lived. Paulie, Tommy, Donald, Craig, and my son...they're all gone... All of them are dead, while I continue to live. Why? WHY?! They wanted me, but they didn't kill me properly. They should have killed me...

The scene then fades out into a flashback as Don Lunacchio begins to remember the day that his family fell at the hands of the Dynasty Hitmen and the Dynasty members that were Mills and Fly.

Nicky Mills and Jonny Fly are staring at the bodies of the men they have just killed in the woods. Don Lunacchio lies in a pool of his own blood, the bullets have pierced him and his breathing looks to have stopped but on closer look, his chest is still slowly going up and down and none of the members seen to have recognized this.  The two CIA agents on the other hand, are officially dead and have no chance of life.

The two CIA agents Donald Malone and Craig Patterson have been gathered by Jonny Fly who looks over at Nicky, who is dragging the body of the Don by his legs while a large trail of blood forms while he drags him. Mills dumps the bodies just by where a small wooden house is seen smack bang in the middle of the woods, and a small river is flowing just beside it. Jonny checks his watch and looks up at the sky and then turns to his partner.

Jonny Fly: We have to burn the bodies so that they we know they're dead. And it means they can't link it to us.

Mills takes off the bowler hat that matches his suit and smiles while looking down at the man that he finally shot and killed.

Nicky Mills: And I bet the cops are on their way.

So this had better be quick. Let's dump them in there and get out of sight before we're seen.

Mills and Jonny proceed to drag the three bodies into the shed and we follow them. Inside the wooden house, Mills is looking at all of the equipment and finds a full petrol can. Picking it up, he whistles to his Dynasty partners and dangles the can in front of Jonny, who smiles back.

This should teach those Mafia bastards never to fuck with the Dynasty.

Nicky begins pouring the petrol all around the house, over the bodies of the CIA agents and finally, over Don Lunacchio.

Oh, I love this part.

Heh. Got any matches?

I've got better.

In addition to his statement, his hand goes inside his jacket pocket and finds a cigarette lighter, then lights a cigar he has in his pocket and begins puffing on it.

Those things will kill you, you know.

Yeah? Like I give a shit.

Both men laugh and begin to walk out of the wooden shed. Nicky turns around just as he steps out right after Jonny and throws the lighter straight into the house and the two men begin running. The entire house literally turns into a fireball and a loud explosion rocks the nearby area.

Holy shit! Let's go!

Look at that, man. Ain't that something?

Ruuuuuuun!

The two men run off into the distance in the woods as the scene fades back to the wooden house, with the entire thing on fire. Just a few moments after the two Dynasty members have disappeared out of sight come two hoods of the Lunacchio family. They look at the burning house and turn to each other.

Lunacchio Hood #1: Goddamn it! They killed them! We're too late. Shit!

Lunacchio Hood #2: They might still be alive. Come on, we don't have much time. Hurry!

Running into the house, the hoods disappear for a short second while the wooden house is on the brink of collapse. Another few seconds later, they are seen dragging out the flaming body of Don Lunacchio and drag him to safety. The wooden house explodes in a fireball and collapses, leaving the two CIA members positively dead. One of them coughs violently due to the heavy smoke but takes off his jacket and throws it onto the Don's flaming body, while the other tries rolling him around in the leaves, which also catch on fire. The fire deceases and the two hoods look at their boss' body and check for a pulse, but pull away because of the temperature. The side of his face is disgustingly revealed to be raw flesh.

Is he dead?

I dont know...but let's take him to Carlo.

If your still alive, Don, hang in there...we're going to help you.

He isn't going to survive this. No way.

Stop fucking around! Let's get him out of here!

The two men lift up the Don's burnt body and begin running with him away from the burning wreckage as the scene fades out.

They saved my life that day. Those two guys... they were following us when the Dynasty attacked our car, but hanged back when we went inside the woods. When they heard my scream, they came into the woods and had to hang back because of...them. I was on the brink of death and on fire and I lived. They failed to kill me even though that's what they came to do. The surgeon Carlo has a surgery and he had to fix me up. I've been recovering until now. But now...

Don Lunacchio then takes out a picture from his pocket and it is a picture of Nicky Mills in his wrestling attire, with the pink sunglasses covering his eyes. He crushes the picture in his hand into a ball.

He will die. My son will not have died in vain. Santino...I will not let him live. Paulie, Tommy, and my own friend Robert Colitri dead at his hands. They fall fell victim to him, including myself. But I survived, and now he shall pay for ultimate price.

His solemn serious face then sports a grin and he manages to stand up before he speaks again.

Death.

He laughs to himself and then begins to look around the room, the realization that Don Lunacchio is alive. The Dynasty had not killed him, and now he could be more dangerous as ever. This could truly be the end of Nicky Mills as the scene fades to darkness, but not before we look at the crumpled up picture of the new World champion.
