Dancing In The Moonlight

Several hours after the TNT show 'The Beginning Of The End' show has ended, two men are discussing serious business in an elevator that seems to be going neither up or down. To be precise, it has been paused so that it is not moving currently. Both individuals are not so easily identifiable due to a light that seems to be faulty in the elevator.

Whether this is deliberate or not is not known. One of them is wearing a dark tank top and a pair of blue jeans whereas the other is wearing a white suit. Both are wearing dark sunglasses and are deep in a conversation, unconcerned about anyone listening probably because they are somewhere where they cannot be heard.

???: "I need a guarantee you close this investigation. Those two agents are starting to fuck with everything I have. And now they have Anderson on board?"

???#2: "You were greenlit."

"So he goes after me? He's sitting in a prison cell rotting."

"Meanwhile, the agents continue to build a case on you. With this Jason Sparks thing hanging over your head, there's no way-"

"I can't go after him in XPWA. Those bastards have blacklisted me from their arena's due to the legal trouble."

"Those two agents know what they're doing. Hurting you when your supposed to be the good guy in this Sparks bullshit... they're playing people against you."

"It's not doing good. Anderson has to go."

"Mills... he's in protective custody. No way will you be able to get to him."

"Whaddya suggest?"

The other individual thinks for a second before pulling out his cell phone and keying in several numbers. He then lights up the screen and hands the phone over to Nicky. It only takes seconds for Mills to read the screen and smile.

"You think that would work?"

"This would totally surprise them. You have enough guys to make it work. And those agents will have no choice but to drop their case. Doing this will bury them."

"And that kills their case against me. Excellent."

"You know anybody who'd do that?"

"We'll find somebody. The FBI is already filled with loudmouths. You get one of them to talk; you leak it."

"To the press."

"They've already made this personal. The case dies with that."

"Good thinking. What about Sparks? His wife's run off scared because of some bullshit about you scaring her off with one of our guys."

"Let him believe that. He'll get what's coming to him for trying to kill me. Right now... I'm letting TNT publicize it."

"Why? Corwin Havens thinks this is all an angle and then you have Rubeus and Major talking shit about you. You've not responded."

"And? Corwin is an idiot who thinks everything's a shoot. Fly's a shoot, TNT's a shoot and Nic's a shoot."

"I take it you've decided to ignore Major and Dahrkov."

"Precisely. Those two aren't worth ripping hairs about. One's a Canadian bitch and the other wishes he were me. They think that being in a stable which died years ago is going to make them better? Jason and his bitch are my main priority"

"Right. Want me to help with anything?"

"Nah. I'm gonna take this one myself. You just make sure that case against me collapses."

The light manages to flicker itself back on and we know that one of the identities in the elevator is none other than TNT professional wrestler Nicky Mills. The other man's face is still hidden in the other section of the elevator which is not lit. He presses the second floor button on the elevator which makes the elevator jerk downwards before finally making it's journey. Nicky and the man share a brief moment of silence before the elevator stops at the second floor. The unidentified man steps out of the elevator and begins walking down the hallway in a calm but quick manner.

Investigation Against Nicky Mills Collapses; "Outside Factors" Blamed

News has just broken across several media outlets that the Federal Bureau of Investigations investigation against professional wrestler Nicholas Mills has collapsed and will be dropped after one of the agents heading the investigation resigned today for unknown reasons. Agent Stone today announced his resignation several hours after the announcement came from the director of the FBI, Robert Mueller, announced during a press conference that the investigation had ended due to "outside factors". Charles Stone did not comment on why he was retiring but inside sources claim that the frustration of the case being dropped led to an incident between Agent Stone and Nicholas Mills, who was the sole target of the investigation. Mueller did not go into specifics about the Nicky Mills case but stated that "he is a free man and we apologize for any harm done."

Nicholas Mills was not available for comment at press time.

So I'm sitting here waiting for another typical interview with Cole Matthews who is the 'interviewer' of TNT Wrestling in my hotel room. After the events that went down today, everyone wants to know how I feel about the Director of the FBI having to announce that a case that has been filled with absolute bullshit from the very beginning was being dropped. He used the "outside factors" part to hide the fact that it very well turned out that Jamie Anderson decided to TELL people that he was going to bring me down. Moron. That stupid drug dealing fuck deserves the electric chair. There's a reason why you keep pieces of shit like that in prison. I'm a free man now, however, and people will finally realize that there's no truth to any of the bullshit allegations.

Sitting here with the camera pointing at me, I feel like just getting on with the interview myself. Of coarse, Cole's the interviewer and since I've realized that once upon a time, I was a complete asshole to him during my 'Outlaw' period. So I'm deciding to be much nicer to him since the only person who deserved my hatred is that backstabing betraying asshole Jason Sparks. He will die a slow and lonely death with the entire world as witnessed when I'm through smashing his skull onto the ground and watching his eyes pop out of his head. The old thoughts creep back into my head....

That's definately a good thing if it's targeted at Sparks.

Cole finally arrives and I cast these thoughts aside to be civil to the interviewer. Our hands come across to each other in a handshake and we exchange greetings before sitting down. He asks me how I'm feeling and if there's anything I need. All I need is a bottle of water which I already got earlier from one of the vending machines. Apart from that, I'll spend this interview time addressing everything. Bitches have spoken and trash talk has been spun my way. It's time to put it all to rest.

And with the camera being ready, the interview begins...

"Hello, I'm Cole Matthews and I'm sitting with a man who's got alot on his mind about several issues. He last week fought one of his biggest allies which unfortunately ended in a draw. We may never know who's the better out of Nicky and Jonny. And you've probably got a few things to say about Jonny after his promo yesterday. However, the news that's been circulating around the world is that the Director of the FBI, Robert Mueller, announced a few days ago that all charges have been dropped against you and rumours have already gone around that the agent that retired, Charles Stone, got into an 'incident' with you. Is there any truth to this?"

"Unfortunately, I can't comment on that due to legal issues. However, I'll say what I have to say about me being free."

"Okay. How do you feel about the charges being dropped?"

"Did you ever really doubt it, Cole?"

"Whaddya mean?"

"For years, the FBI has been a giant bug up my ass ever since the stuff between that sick fuck of my brother and myself. They hated the fact that an agent was killed in self defence and that my brother died even though he was a child molester and everything. They see me as a cop killer and so they dig up every charge they have from murder to robbery and bombing of a casino in Las Vegas. It's NEVER been proved that I had anything to do with that. I'm a wrestler; not a goddamn gangster."

"Evidence over the years suggests otherwise. What about the Lunacchio killings? Your younger brother Mark was killed by them. Don't you think it's a little coincidental they all die in one day? How a Chinese Restaurant that you were eating in during a visit to New York see's the entire place be shot up and every witness killed except for you and Jeremy Cundiff? How about Mark's body being discovered? And let's not forget the Skydome bombing that Mike Wilson accused you of a while back?"

"Every detail of it is bullshit. I never killed anyone. See, everything's been doctored so that a case is build up against me. They find ANYTHING on me and they proceed. But they always charge without evidence."

"Then just HOW did you escape the weapons possession charge in London where Christian and Travis were both found dead at a building site and you and Jeremy at the scene?"

"I went there to help Jeremy. The gun was backup. But I used it to get everyone away from it except for Travis, Christian and the others. Cole, you have to understand that Scotland Yard found nothing to suggest I had used the gun in any other way and they decided not to prosecute. That might have pissed a few people off but it's just the way it goes."

"You've been notorious for years with allegations of drug dealing and murder. With this investigation dropped, your finally a free man once more. Do you have anything to say regarding the allegations?"

"Yeah. That they're total bullshit. To the FBI, you cockroaches can dig up whatever bullshit charges you have. I'll still walk away from all of them. I'll go DOWNTOWN with your ass! DOWNTOWN! DOWNTOWN!"

"I'm sure a certain wrestler wouldnt like you using his catchphrase."

"DOWNTOWN! I'M TAKING THEIR ASSES DOWNTOWN!"

If I hear that egotistical rambling rookie say that catchphrase one more time, I'll put him and Jason Sparks in the same cage and beat both of them to death.

"Okay, let's get down to wrestling business. Last week, you and Jonny Fly went to an draw in your matchup. Jonny recently cut a scathing promo about you. Did you see it?"

"I'm surprised he didn't try and pin his recent bullshit on me."

"So do you have anything to say about those comments?"

"Same old crap from the same old guy. He can talk all he wants, he's still a bitch who thinks the world revolves around himself. I got past that thinking a long time ago. I'll put him in the same catagory as Rollin Thunder and Jimmy Vetalo. All complete bitches with nothing but a big mouth and a few fluke wins."

"Jonny Fly's more established than-"

"I like Jonny Fly as a wrestler. As a person, he's scum. But I have some respect left for him even though he probably will never admit to himself he and I are equal."

"Last week, Rubeus Dahr-"

"Do me a favour, Cole. Don't give them the satisfaction of having their names in my promo. You refer to that motherfucker as Bitch #1 and his Canadian boyfriend as Bitch #2. Got that?"

"They had a lot to say about you, Nicky."

"See the difference between me and Bitch #1 is that he will never understand that as a wrestler, I'm better than him. As a performer, I'm better than him. And as a person, I'm better. He took a stable that died years ago and whored it out for the entire world to laugh at. My paychecks are bigger than both those bitches combined. When a promoter wants a good wrestler, he gets me. When he wants a guy who the fans will walk away saying that the match he was in was the best ever, that's me. Bitch #1 can win the World belts all he wants in independent promotions; I will always be the better man. And do me a favour... stop making your words seem like a shoot all the time. I can see through a lie and your promo's are full of them."

"As for Ma- I mean, Bitch #2, your thoughts?"

"Talk. High flyer. Spot monkey. Thinks he can wrestle."

"Is that it?"

"That's all the attention he deserves."

"Before we get onto Jason Sparks, I want to ask you about your next matchup. You will be facing off against Cameron Behringer otherwise known as Spitfly and Corwin Havens. This seems like a tough matchup where you'll definately be going up against the very best. How are you feeling about this one?"

"Cameron is a great guy and still my friend. We may have had some rough bullshit with Rilo and that Revolution stable but he's still a hell of a talent. He's beaten me once and it was thanks to that bald ass wizard himself but he still did it. I respect everything he's ever done and am glad he finally got the belt before Rilo did some of his magic tricks to win it himself. Corwin? I have no idea who or what he's about but whatever. I like the mystery. But I'm looking to smash a certain somebody's face in and these two are my guinea pigs. I'm dancing in the moonlight with the devil, Cole."

"Okay, this is the big question. Jason Sparks and yourself are still at odds with each other, all stemming from an incident in which he stabbed you in the middle of a live crowd. The United Wrestling Alliance was shut down almost instantly as a result and Sparks was cleared due to a loophole that the company was responsible-"

"No, the FBI simply made sure that the charges went away."

"Uh.."

"That's such bullshit. All my charges are followed up on yet Sparks get away clean? Our justice system is absolutely pathetic. Jason thought I was down and out, thinking I'd never lay a hand on him as I'd be in hospital. He was dead wrong. I came back with a motherfuckin vengeance. And like a bitch, he's done everything to avoid me. Someday, TNT are going to have to give me the match we want. And the fans want to see Sparks have his skull crushed in. And they want to see me avenge my stabbing. So this week, it'll be all taken care of."

"Several critics believe that your still not fit to compete after you made a quick comeback after your stabbing. Do you believe your healthy enough to fight Jason?"

The question throws me off slightly, not preparing for my answer. One one hand, the doctors have told me that stepping in the ring even though the surgery has weakened me slightly and that I have not rehabbed myself properly. On the other, nothing will stop me from getting my hands on that backstabbing two faced punk bitch. I look at the camera with the same intensity I stared at the camera several weeks ago when lying from the hospital bed; letting the entire world know the fire that still burns within me.

Cameron Behringer and Corwin Havens are my competition. Jason Sparks, however, is the man I will put to rest once and for all after everything he's done to me. So I answer the question the only way I can.

"Nothing will stop me. Nothing."
