Brendan Walsh

A promising junior in 1998 and returned in 2001 to begin to fulfill the promise, although played in limited performances. Another member of the Shamrocks' famous Walsh family, cousin of Matt.

Played in the 1995 Championship final as a teenager. Queensland representative at the 1998 and 2001 Australasian Games. Played with Shamrocks up to 1999 before linking with the Kilmainham club in Kells, Co. Meath, in 1999-2000. Returned to Shamrocks in 2000 and again played in a winning Championship final. Played for Queensland against the touring Connaught schools all-star team in 2001. Finished the season as Shamrocks' ninth-leading scorer. Shamrocks committee member in 2001, club vice president in 2002..

Conor Walshe

Queensland representative playerConor Walshe and his $65 TaytosIrish Visa PlayerDubliner who played for Shamrocks in winning the inaugural International Rules Shield against Kenmore Bears AFC in July 2001. Attracted world-wide media attention when he spent what may be a world-record $65 on a packet of Taytos at the 2001 Shamrocks fancy dress party. He was dressed as a lion. See news special. Represented Queensland at the 2001 Australasian Games in Melbourne.

Tim Warhurst
Debuted in 2000 and wore the same red shirt throughout. Scored a point from corner back in the Championship final. Player and medical officer for Shamrocks in 2001, club committee member in 2002. Played the same red shirt for the second half of 2001.

Chris White

Joined Shamrocks late in 2001 and played well, including 1 point in his first game.

Finished the 1999 season with 2 goals 2 points. In 2000 finished as seventh-leading mens scorer in the club with 2 goals 7 points. Won the Shamrocks reserves Most Improved Player award in 2000. Work commitments preventing him from playing in 2001. Has returned to Shamrocks in 2002.

Kelly Woods

Debuted for Shamrocks in 2001, finishing a third-leading scorer with 15 goals 26 points. Member of the Shamrocks' 2001 Queensland Championship winning team. Winner of the Shamrocks Best First Year Player award. Missed the awards presentation due to making the Australian touch-football team.
