| Ranma 1/2 is a story about a teenage martial artist who turns into a girl when splashed with cold water and back into a guy when splashed with warm water. It all began when Ranma's father, Genma took him on a decade long training trip to China. They used the Jyusenkyo springs as their battle ground and fell in. They then found out the nature of the springs and Genma and Ranma learned of their disformities. When they returned, Ranma is engaged to Akane (her sisters backed out, saying Akane hated men, and this was the best thing) and they attend the same school. The plot thickens as other characters are introduced. Ukyo and Shampoo, two other girls who are engaged to him. Ryoga, Mousse and Kuno, his rivals. Kuno quickly falls in love with the female form of Ranma 'Ranko' and of course, Ryoga and Mousse believe that Ranma doesn't deserve Akane and Shampoo. Akane is easily angered by Ranma and all his 'uncute' comments and Ranma has his own stubborness and pride to get past. And the plot thickens. (actually, it pretty much goes along those lines...I'll shut up now) and one more thing. How the hell is that picture possible? |
