The Islamic Sunnatul Jamaat was established in 1980, the Second Masjid in The Bronx. The first was Makky Jame Masjid. Presently there are about
fifteen Masajids in the Bronx, and about ten halal store and restaurant. Alhamdulillah the Muslim Community in the Bronx is growing very rapidly and
our focus right now should be on the establishment of Islamic Schools for our children. It is our hope that all the various masajids in the Bronx can
work together to make this a reality for our children and the future of Islam in the Bronx. InshaAllah. May Allah help us towards this objective.
The burial of a Muslim is the last obligation or communal right we can do for our brothers, lets us strive to do it RIGHT!
