Here are the birth announcements and baby pics for the year 2005. It was a year of opposites: the first litter composed solely of red and whites--four boys and a girl; the second litter arriving in a solid phalanx of black and white, four girls and a boy.

Year 2003 saw the arrival of two litters one of which was a first for Shamaron. Ebony (Ch. Blackwings' Ebony Rose) and Savvy (Ch. Shamaron's Savvy Saracen) had seven delightful puppies, four boys and three girls. Crystal (Ch. Shamaron Aurora Crystal) and Solo (Shamaron's Auroraice Sirocco) presented with the two little red and white sweethearts, a girl and a boy.

The next year heralded the advent of a different first for Shamaron...a singleton puppy...who quickly proved that he could, and would, rule the roost (and his doting mama) without so much as a flick of his little basenji boy puppy paw. He doesn't LOOK like a little tyrant, does he? Well, in this case anyway, appearances CAN be deceiving!

Can you guess which one goes with which picture? No matter...all three were darling little girls and all have grown up to be sweet little debutantes!

"Bravo"

Here are Crystal (Ch. Shamaron's Auroraice Crystal) and Colt's (Ch. Shamaron's Colter Connection) babies from November 2001. All reds as can be plainly seen: two handsome boys and three winsome girls. They grew up to be "Raider" and "Bravo" (pictured left), and "Beans", and "Scarlett", and "Glory".

Santa and his Puppy Express visited Shamaron on Christmas Eve when by rights he should have been landing on rooftops and sliding down chimneys with presents for good little girls and boys. So Shamaron apologizes if anyone's visit from Santa was delayed.

And, proving the old adage that Santa's work is never done, the jolly old elf made a belated second appearance at Shamaron on the 28th.
