| Rudick & Kelty Visit 26 July 2004 |

| We were blessed to have a visit from Joel & Joyce Rudick along with their friends (and our new friends) Miriam & Ed Kelty during July. Joel was instrumental in some of the ideas that were incorporated into the house plans, such as the extended lanai in the back of the house and the removal of a wall at the top of the stairs when you first enter the living room. These were ideas that our architect, Neil Erickson, embraced when we raised them after a brainstorming session at the Rudick's home in Maryland approximately two years ago. Here, you see Judi, showing Joel & Ed the living room (Right), Miriam and Judi posing in the 3rd floor hallway (Below), Joyce & Joel peaking out of the window from the master bedroom (2nd below) and Joel & Paul discussing the nuances of the house from the office on the 3rd floor (Two bottom pictures). During the month since these pictures were taken, the tile has been laid, the cabinets and tops have been installed and Paul has started painting the outside. |
