Pouring the slab for the ground floor, 9 December 2003. You can see them actually pouring the concrete here (the fellow with the hose over his shoulder). Notice how much nicer a day it was than when the posts were poured (and so did the skies!). The sun actually can accelerate the concrete hardening and makes it more difficult to shape. |
