Who Owns the Wind?

Who owns the wind?
who possesses the heart,
who dances with the maypoles
when the ribbons stream east?

O balmy Wind, alight upon our dappled skin
truly near is the fragrant billow
pine needles languish over earth-claw roots
amid these days of butter and pansies

This I saw along the forget-me-not road
the fleecy welkin tying up our longings
the Ivy fancying to taste Suns breath
the briar patch ensnaring the fallen seed

Eagles circle low over bursts and buds
the berry trees wave a heavy bough
a constellation of bright ripe eyes
ever portals for harvest whispers
