I wrote some words for you today opening the windows I close my eyes.
~
Hot summers roll by and I remember her blue eyes, the clear skies, the calm seas.
I sit down in the reds eating blood plums, admiring the tomatoes.
Wrapped in my velvet coat atop a purple mountain I press lavender spikes.
As bright yellow balloons sing of egg yolks to stooping sunflowers.
On the lush greens of soft hill grasses, I write of apples and limes.
Smooth white paper becomes an icy lake as words snow like bride veils in the wind.
Evening fell weaving tresses wearing funeral dresses as the sky shuts her eyes.
