He was never abused, his parents are actually pretty nice folks. He was born and raised in a small, quaint English town, with only one sibling. His younger sister, Lodess. He was always fiercly protective of her, being the best older brother he could possibly attempt to be. He always had a love for music, and though his parents wearn't the most approving (but still supportive), he decided to become a musician when his sister went off to college. While he learned to play the guitar and train his voice for singing, he worked in a deli, delivering..Well, deli things. Sandwiches, meat, ect..
He eventually started a band. -insert name here- He became the lead singer and guitarist, having more talent in those fields than his band-mates. Though as time went on he found others who play just as well or better than he does..Two of those being Cutter, who's as insane as he is talented, obsessing over his sister and girlfriend, and Ezra. Aryk and Ezra got along well since they first met.
Before Aryk and Ezra became as close of friends as they are today however, he met Syd. Syd being the lead singer of the band she share with Ezra. Aryk fell in love with her the moment he first saw her. Well..Perhaps it was more..Lust at first sight more than love at first sight, but needless to say he thought she was really 'neato'. Though she was using drugs heavily, and her boyfriend abused her badly. Aryk and Syd were best friends for awhile before he managed to convince her to get away from her boyfriend, helping her kick her drug habit. They eventually fell deeply in love, and got together.
They were happy for a long while before tragedy struck. He was flying home from a show, and the plane he and his band mates were on went down. His band-mates survived, but he had dissapeared, thought to be dead. Though unknown to everyone, he had been tossed twenty feet from the plane when it crashed, having been unfortunate enough to have the window seat. He was found the day afterward, near-death. Having nothing to confirm his identity on him, he was admitted into the hospital as a Jon Doe. He was in a coma for shortly over half a year before waking, immediately going on a search for Syd. He didn't have to search long before finding her. She'd gone back into her old drug habit, and though he was upset that she'd gone back into those ways again, he was overjoyed to be a part of her life again, and for a second time, helped her kick those bad habits. Living with Syd and all of his closest friends now, he vows never to be parted from them again. |
