A LITTLE  BIT OF NANCY
HELLO. I AM NANCY. MY BIOGRAPHICAL DATA  ...
JUST THE FACTS MAMM ... JUST THE FACTS
... AND IN THE BEGINNING ...

LET'S SEE ... I was born in Carmel, California. Dad was Dean Of Students at Hartnell College & Mom taught in  Monterey, Ca. (my first home). Then we moved to San Benancio Canyon, Ca. in the country.

I developed a love of the countryside & a deep love for animals while living there, as well as a love for the ocean & all of its wonderful creatures & having great parents who encouraged my interests.

Visalia, CA in the San Joaquin Valley was my next home. I went from K-9 there (Conyer, Divisadero Jr. High & Mount Whitney High). We lived in town, yet my heart was always in the country. I took horseback riding lessons as a youngster & developed a love for horses and farms. I met some wonderful friends in Visalia who live on in my heart.

Saratoga in No. California was where I graduated from Saratoga High School. The following years saw me through moves to British Columbia, Canada, Lake Tahoe, & Oregon.

I'm back in Silicon Valley now. Divorced &  recently returned to college & earned both BA & Master's degrees  - but I am the same person - with or without the sheepskin. Just wanted to proove to myself I could get through college!

THE MISSING LINK
WHAT IS MISSING IN MY LIFE?

I have a job, a nice car, a couple of sweet dogs and I have an  adventurous spirit. I love music - which can move the soul and make you feel  the love in the music searching for the magical words to make it all whole.

The ocean - there is nothing like it.  The constant, soothing and beautiful ocean, filled with excitement as well as relaxation. Festivals are fun but even with all of these joys in life, there is a very important piece of the puzzle that is missing.

What are the pleasures in life worth to you, without someone to love & share them with?  Life can be wonderful - but I feel it is even more so, with someone special to share the wonderment, joy, beauty, music, and yes even the sorrows, for when two share heavy load together, the load lightens. Also sharing joy together makes life more exhilerating!

                                     ABOUT ME

I've been divorced for sevral years.  Marriage can be a very tough committment to make without trust, and loyalty and a willingness on both parts to make the relationship work out.

I don't have children.  I'm not even certain if I could get involved with someone who has young children, as I'm at an age where I'd like to do so many things together with a man and not have to share him with his kids!   Part of this may be because I've never really had a serious relationship with someone who has a family, plus I have no kids.

                    WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR

I think I know more about what I am not looking for!   I just need to put it down on paper real fast because it can be painful seeing it all in black & white.

I'm not looking for a man who cannot say the words "I Love You".
I'm not looking for a guy who refuses  to work on issues that create problems.
I'm not looking for a guy who will stick me in a resthome if I get sick so he can be out dating!

I know the above sounds very "different" but believe me there are guys like that.

I 'm  looking for a man with a good sence of humor and who loves to laugh and even have a few jokes of his own.

I'm looking for someone who will share some of my interests and I can share some of his. It does not have to be everything!

The Pacific Ocean has always been a part of my life. The hospital where I was born viewed it. I learned to swim here. It was a favorite "hang out" all during high school. Lots of parties and barbecues here! I have to admit I love the ocean.
Well, at least you can't say I'm not interested or even interesting, for that matter. I like people, places and things and love the out of doors and yet I also love the privacy of nature and having my own space just for me - I think it is necessary to be really fulfilled!  -- Jjust my thought.

I love taking digital photos and even sending them to complete strangers - well I have done this a few times!

I love the spring & summer here as there is so much to do ... all the art and wine & music festivals every week ... the arts and crafts displayed are by vendors from all over North America.  I have a very small collection of woodword art - some pictures containing as many as fifteen different types of wood - making  beautiful scenes, mainly of  birds in flight in different scenes of nature.

I have a collection of African animals I have displayed - one is a special gift from Guinea - the rest from the US and Mexico and vacations I have been on - mainly road trips throughout the USA, Canada and Mexico. My traveling vehicle my 1998 Nissan is for sale as I am writing this. I just got a new Nissan this weekend. (Just had a lot of good luck & good times with my 1998)!  I put on over 88,000 miles on my 1998 car with these travels!

I have always loved the warm & fuzzy animals - cats & dogs & horses - you know - mammals.  Recently I met Herbie at a Christmas dinner (no, he was not the main course)! He was very soft & sweet for a Bearded Dragon!
This is me at the San Ramon, CA. annual "Kite & Wind" festival. Some fly 6 kites at a time and do some spectacular tricks with their kites in this wonderful wind!
