MEET MULDER ...
FUN  FACTS
Mulder can sit, lie,
shake paws,&  jump, give kisses, and ask for scratches, especially
if you have food.
Mulder is my
Toy Fox Terrier.
He is loyal, curious,
cute and comical.
He has lots of nicknames:   The Muld, Muldie, Muldie-Locks, Loxbone, Little Man,
and Big Boy
More About Mulder
Mulder is tri-color and United Kennel Club Registered (UKC)
In 2005 Toy Fox Terriers will be recognized by the AKC, and be able
to be registered under
both AKC and UKC dogs.
Mulder is; the namesake of 'Fox Mulder' from the X-Files.
We found him at the
CARE RESCUE in Santa Clara, California
after looking for a Toy Fox Terrier for months!
We hope  to also adopt a TFT 'baby brother' for Mulder.
Mulder must be the 'Alpha Dog' though.    He doesn't know he's
only  5 1/2 pounds!  Toy Fox terriers are small dogs
(3 pounds to  7 1/2 pounds) with big hearts need to be
protected against larger dogs,
even though they want to procect you!
People who are normally allergic
to dogs don't seem to be
allergic to  the Toy  Fox Terrier.
He also can get dirty and within
a  1/2 an hour the dust or dirt
has fallen from his coat!
(Better Than A Self-Cleaning
Oven)   ~ More loveable too !

Update:
January 21, 2006 ~

Does anybody have a Toy Fox Terrier they must give up for one reason or another?
I'm looking for a puppy  or a very young
Toy Fox Terrier.  No other  dog could ever replace Mulder, but it is time to have the sound of little paws on the  kitchen floor,
and the warm little body smuggling under
the covers, and the positive strong attitude
a Toy Fox possesses that can make you
feel great, plus  the cute antics that make
you laugh until your sides hurt
from laughing.

I live in California not far from San Jose, California and will wait for the right
Toy Fox Terrier for me.  The just completed
a small dog park in nearby Campbell,  California ~ specifically for small breed dogs
to exercise and socialize, and not be
subjected to the attack of a
larger breed dog.

Please learn from my sad experience;
no matter how healthy it is for a toy dog
to socialize with other dogs and run off
the leash, they must be in a safe place,
NOT in a dog park unsuitable for a toy dog.

Thank you for you help.  When Mulder died,
so many friends, neighbors and family members send cards and flowers and called
to express their condolences.  I appreciate
all who helped me.   I have no children,
and Mulder was my "baby".

Thank you!

HAS YOUR HEART EVEN BEEN BROKEN BY THE TRAGEDY OF LOSING YOUR BELOVED PET?
MINE HAS.  I WAS TOO SHAKEN TO DRIVE TO THE VET'S CLINIC TO MEET MY FORMER BOYFRIEND WHEN HE CALLED TO TELL ME OUR SWEET LITTLE GUY WAS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE.

A NEIGHBOR I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW JUMPED OUT OF THE POOL TO TAKE ME TO THE CLINIC.  SHE WAITED WITH ME UNTIL SURGERY BEGAN.  WHEN SHE DROVE BACK SHE LET OTHERS KNOW.
THE VET WALKED IN AND I SAID, "HE DIED DIDN'T HE"?  I WAS TOLD  HE'D MADE IT THROUGH THE SURGERY BUT HAD A FATAL HEART ATTACK ON THE SURGERY TABLE.

MY HEART SANK. I CRIED FOR A WEEK.  MY LITTLE MAN WAS GONE.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - LISTEN TO ME
ONE WOMAN BROUGHT HER DOG IN CASE MULDER NEEDED A BLOOD TRANSFUSION.  I WAITED FOR WHAT SEEMED SO LONG, AND TURNED TO MY FRIEND AND SAID, "HE JUST DIED". I WAS TWO ROOMS AWAY IN A PRIVATE WAITING ROOM WITH A CLOSED DOOR.   I RAN TO THE RECEPTIONIST AND ASKED IF HE'D JUST DIED AND SHE SAID SHE COULDN'T TELL ME ANYTHING AND TO WAIT FOR THE VET TO COME IN TO TALK TO ME.
THE VET TOLD ME THAT BEFORE DOG PARKS ALMOST 100% OF DOG INJURIES THAT CAME TO THE CLINIC WERE FROM BEING HIT BY CARS.
NOW ABOUT 50% OF INJURED DOGS WHO COME IN ARE INJURED BY CARS AND THE OTHER 50% ARE FROM DOG PARKS

IF YOU HAVE A TOY OR SMALL DOG, TAKE HIM OR HER TO A SMALL BREED DOG PARK. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN.
