December Activities
In December our class
did a thematic unit on Holiday Customs Around the world.
In England we made Christmas cards.
Mrs. Weidenbach shared her customs for Hanukkah.
For Germany we made geometric shapes from marzipan and then made toys from
them.
In Mexico we read about the Christmas Flower and made our own paper poinsettias.
The last day before our winter break we made gingerbread houses. We
had a surprise visit by
Mrs. Claus! Too bad Mrs. Haley wasn't there to meet her!
