Step 1: I created a basic bingo template in Micrographix Draw, using the drag n drop tool in the HugBug Browser I put approx. 40 asst. images onto the page with the template. Step 2: I resized them to fit the squares. (make sure to put a "free" square in the center square. fill all squares, (I left the extra images not used sitting on the page outside the print area, save and then print the bingo card (also put the name of the bingo game on the card). Step 3: After printing, I then re-arranged and changed some of the images and printed the next card. Repeat for as many cards as you want. Step 4: Save the file INCLUDING all of the images sitting off the page. Then save AGAIN under a different name. In this file, delete the template and name leaving only the images. Arrange ALL of the images on the page leaving space so they can be punched with the circle punch or cut out (this is what you put in a container to draw from). I give my kids small candy for the markers then when a round is done they get a treat. I have made * Summer bingo: things we do or see in the summer * Travel bingo: things we see while traveling or will be doing. ( I have laminated these cards, so all the kids need to do is use a crayon and mark off a square as they see the item, then there are no lost markers, etc. ) * Baby Bingo (especially fun for a baby shower) with images relating to babies. My kids have really enjoyed playing these games, my 4 yr. old even enjoys playing them as a matching game: he draws a circle from the bag and if it is on his card he puts a marker on it...when he gets bingo he eats the treats. And it is a great learning activity for him as well...
