Massage
oils can also be doubled as bath oils, not all the time though as
some do not mix well. It all depends on the ingredients and
oils used. I will make a note and tell you if it is suitable
for both.
When making massage oils the
idea is to evenly distribute one teaspoon of essential oil to 4
ounces of carrier oil.
Choosing your carrier oil depends on your needs.
Sweet almond oil is a little heavier than other oils. It is great
for dry skin and long massages. It has a lot of good vitamins and
protects the skin.
Grapeseed oil is more lightweight and is good for bath oils, as well
as light massage.
Sunflower oil of great for baths, and is good for the skin but not
suited for massage.
