Photo taken by Gloria Lenoir What you will need: Ready Start by painting the broom whisks white. you don't have to completely paint it white. You want some of the tan whisks showing thru. Also don't paint the center where the face will be, this will be the shin tone. Cut the broom handles off the tiny brooms, and paint white. This is his mustache. Print out your pattern for the eyes and mouth and trace onto felt pieces as shown in the picture. And cut them out. For Santa's hat, take a full square of red felt wrap it around the broom from the back to the front high enough so there's room for his face and hair. And glue down. take the other piece of red felt and take a 13 and a 1/2 inch piece of fur and glue it down on the bottom length of the felt, make sure there is equal amounts of fur on each side of the felt left hanging off the felt. Now starting at the top, wrap the felt around to the back of the felt you already glued to the broom and going down to the bottom where the fur is this should be the wide part of the broom and glue around to the back. Last, glue on the 2 tiny brooms for the mustache and then glue on the medium size pompom for the nose and then the red piece of felt for the mouth and the construction of felt for the eyes. Large black first then the white, black again and the tiny dot of white felt for the pupil. Almost forgot, glue the large white pompom at the top of the hat and broom. He should already have a hanger at the top, If not, just attach a piece of wire for the hook Enjoy !
