To make

Trace the cushion template given above and cut out.

Pin the paper pieces onto the fur and cut out the three pieces. Follow the cutting instructions on the pattern pieces.  Cut a strip of fur Fabric 125 x 5cm for the side panel

Fold a hem in the back piece, along the line marked A. Pin it in place.
Using the embroidery thread sew the hem in position using small running stitches. Remove the pins

Pin the top of the back of the heart to the bottom of the back of the heart so it is the same size as the front of the heart

With the wrong side of fabrics together, pin the side panel around the outer edge of the front of the heart, starting and finishing at the lower tip.
Stitch the panel in place with neat running stitches.
Fold the raw edges of the side panel at the join to the wrong side. Close this seam using neat over-stitches.

In exactly the same way join the back of the heart to the other edge of the side panel.
Cut the ribbon into three equal lengths.
Fold ribbon in half to make a loop and stitch it to the wrong side of the hem along the back opening.
Sew the buttons in place, matching ribbon loops.
This completes the cushon cover.

Cut out two front pieces and a side panel in the purple cotton fabric.
Stitch them together in exactly the same way as for the
cover.
Leave a small opening down one side for stuffing.

Push the stuffing into the opening and close the seam.
Place the inner cushon inside the fur cushion and close the buttons
