Materials Needed

1 strip of Aida band (any length you like) that is wide enough to take 9 stitches high

For the Bead in the middle, use a Mill Hill Seed Bead - colour 03005

Stitch the design using 2 strands of floss over 1 thread of the aida band. If you choose a very wide band, then stitch using 4 strands over 2 threads.

This band can be used as a ribbon to wrap a valentines present for a loved one, or how about wrapping it round the middle of a nice cake? It also looks great tacked to the front of a shelf as an edging.
