Paper cone from toilet tissue 
styrofoam 
Red and yellow yarn 
Elmers glue 

Cut a piece of styrofoam to fit in end of paper cone. Brush Elmers glue on cone, wrap red yarn around the cone and over the styrofoam.  Fold several pieces of yellow yarn together( about 1 inch long), put a little glue on this and push into styrofoam for a wick. ( you can use pipe cleaners also) Put your yarn candle in a saucer, or use several of them on a piece of white styrofoam for a centerpiece.  You can glue stars on for more decoration. 

To make these look like firecrackers, wrap with yarn or red tissue paper and stick several lengths of gold and silver pipe cleaners in the top. Have a safe July 4th!
