You will need:
Orange
felt pen
Pink felt
Blue embroidery thread
1m Blue satin ribbon
Embroidery needle
Heart Motif
Scissors, ruler, felt tip pen and dressmaking pins.
To
Make:

Extract
and Trace the heart Motif from the zip file.
Retrace it onto pink felt and cut out.

Measure
the outside of the book and jot down the measurements. Using a ruler,
make a paper pattern to these measurements.
Fold the pattern around the book to make sure it is the correct size.
Pin the pattern to the orange felt and cut out.

Cut
out two pieces of pink felt about 10cm wide and the same depth as the book
for the inner cover.

Place
the heart motif onto the front ans sew it in place, using the blue
embroidery thread and blanket stitch.

pin
the two inner covers at the side edges, on the wrong side of the front
cover. Using blue embroidery thread, stitch the pink and orange felt
together with neat running stitches. Remove the pins.

Place
the ribbon with the shiny side down in the centre of the inside of the back
cover. Using large zig zag stitches, sew the ribbon inplace.
Slip the cover onto the book.
