7. Course Description
The Nuisance Problems referred in the Public Health Act B.E. 2535. Sanitary Investigation for Nuisance Verification.
Methods of Control and Prevention. Technique of Sanitation Measures & Engineering Design for Nuisance Abatement.
8. Course Objectives :
By the end of this course the student will be able to :-
8.1 Understand and describe the meaning, definition and significance of nuisances in environmental health programme.
8.2 Understand and describe Regulatory Structures or System concerning with Public Nuisance Controls& Abatements.
8.3 Investigate and verify Public Nuisance Case of Complaints, including report writing for Abatement Board decision.
8.4 Understand and apply scientific methods for environmental assessment of nuisance causes relevant to the five sensori-neural
organs: noise, odor, bright light(glares), visual blight, smoke & dust, etc
8.5 Describe various nuisance abatement techniques including sanitation measures and engineering methods: Sanitary Surveys & Inspections.
Drainage system design. Sewer Cleansing management. Waste Loading control.Noise Barrier design.
8.6 Systemize the nuisance complaint informations and disseminate concerned knowledge to the public.
