Visits Through The Veil

I �awoke� around 2:00 a.m. and went down to the kitchen for a glass of water, and saw what I thought to be a light on in the basement. I always was wary of the basement. Even then, I knew it held a portal. That �something� was down there that could take me through it. Halfway down the stairs, in a �light�, was my friend. He was afraid and wanted me to go with him. He did not understand what was happening, or what to do. He was alone. He stood on the edge of a shore, a small rowboat beside him. I looked behind him and saw who I knew were his grandparents waiting for him. I told him he was not alone. But he had never met them, so for him, he was.
He asked if I would go with him. I told him that if I did, I would die too, and that it was not my time. He was not happy with my response. He asked again, stating a date and time he would return for me.
That morning, as I poured milk in my cereal, I told my mom the events of my dream. By the date in question, mama was at our home. I was sitting in a chair. She held smoking herbs and resins, and �smudged� me using a bundle of Peacock feathers. I was sent to her sister�s place and she stayed to meet Howard. Mama was experienced in such matters. She was able to cross over with Howard and then return. These are the lessons I would learn.
Many years later, as my experience with spirit and astral work continued, I had a dream during the full moon in March, 2002. My papa (maternal, deceased grandfather) came to me on the astral plane during dream-time. As with all my dreams of this nature, no words were spoken, but communication was still understood. Papa knew I was struggling with my calling, and questioning my paths, he showed me answers to these concerns, which will remain between my and my papa, but then he showed me something else�
Papa turned to face behind him, the astral plane changed, and we were on the beach in Trinidad. In awe, I moved to stand in front of papa and saw a procession on the beach concerning the individuals who would be involved in my own spiritual and healing journey, and then a hearse followed behind these individuals. Behind the hers, was a beautiful, bride�. And I knew�. I turned to face papa, tears in my eyes both in the astral state and the physical plane. Papa smiled and nodded� Behind papa, were my other ancestors from this earth-walk who I knew had also passed� They were all waiting, for mama.
Three days later, we got word that Mama had died. The massage that papa shared is still the one I feel the deepest.
There is so much spirit can do to guide us, so much our ancestors still have to teach us. These too, are the lessons I continue to learn.
My instruction commences�
A medicine healer/shaman can be called upon not just to remove spirits as in the case of possession, but also to commune with them. A walker between worlds, she is able to cross over in a trance state to either assist a spirit with his crossing over process, or in the case of soul retrieval, to bring back an aspect of a living persons soul, which has retreated to the spirit world due to a traumatic event it cannot face. She is also able to communicate message from spirit world, bringing back massages to guide the clan. These abilities extend to the animal, plant and minerals worlds as well, where knowledge of totem, herb and crystal medicine can be claimed for healing and guidance.
The concept of crossing over, and safeguards to a ritual process will be provided as this site develops. The unique process of soul retrieval will also be addressed, however, this process requires a trained medicine healer/shaman and should not be attempted on your own. As such, no ritual for soul retrieval will be provided, however, the protection ritual and medicine bundle given to me by my Mama will be provided.
