NANAIAH URGES MINISTERS TO RESIGN;

Madikeri November 26, 2006

Former minister M.C.Nanaiah has urged the concerned ministers to submit resignation in connection with the shocking Jamma land circular.

Reacting to the statements that the circular curbing right over land was passed by officials without bringing it to the notice of Ministers, Nanaiah said that if the ministers have no control over officials they better quit.

Addressing a press conference here yesterday, Nanaiah alleged that the former Conservator of forests Venkata Subbaiah is behind the mischief and the order is passed to create confusion.

Retaliating the allegation by MLA K.G.Bopaiah and A.K.Subaiah that he is behind this order, Nanaiah said that he will not stoop into such silly politics. ‘if they think that I am still capable of misleading the government, let my detractors become my followers and accept my leadership’, he challenged.
