CNC TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL DAY;

Secretary general of Codava National Council, N.U.Nachappa has said that Kodava Natioanal day would be celebrated tomorrow, the 21st at madikeri.

Addressing scribes here he said that a huge procession with traditional attire will pass through the town and assemble at Gandhi Maidan. Sports, cultural shows will be conducted during the celebration.

Nachappa stated that the problems of Kodavas will end only if they are given constitutional guarantee. Important resolutions will be passed during the function, he said.

APPAIH AS KODAVA FEDERATION PRESIDENT;

President of Bangalore Kodava Samaj, Kodira Appaih has been elected as the president of Kodava Federation.

Mathanda onnappa is elected as the honouraray president. Mandepanda Suguna Muthanna of Ammathi Kodava samaj, Manavattira B.Machaiah and Cholanda B.Muddappa will be the vice presidents. Presidents of many other Kodava samajas will be the committee members.

Bollandanda Lalitha Nanda Kumar from kushalnagar Samaj is inducted from the ladies side. Mundanda M.nanaiah and Appachu ranjan will be the permanent invitees.

The committees were formed in a meeting held at Mysore yesterday.
