MUSIC CONTIBUTES MENTAL PEACE

Madikeri Nov 5 Music contributes mental peace to all. The innermost feelings are exposed hearing the sound music. The mental balance can always be maintained-opined Vidwan Venkataramana Bhat,lecturer of Suratkal Gondas College. He was speaking as chief guest in the inaugural function of anniversary celebrations of “Nrithya Mantapa Trust”, Madikeri.

The person who does not enjoy the music and the dance is equal to the status of dumb animals-he analysed .Without sound, the dance is zero. The sound started from Lord Shiva’s Damaruga”. 64 arts exist in the country. We all should encourage these arts-opined Venaktaramana Bhat.

T.P.Ramesh who inaugurated the function analysed that during the completion of the present Golden year of United Karnataka we should have a study if the various arts exists in the state. Bharatha Natyam has become a wing of our regular life style- he explained. M.P.Sunil Subramnani another guest told the foreigners follow Indian art and tradition; But the expected encouragement could not be seen in four country –he opined. Vidushi Roopa Upadhya performed the Bharathanatyam .

BHAGYALAKSHMI PROJECT

Madikeri Nov 5 The “Bhagyalakshmi” project of Karnataka Govt. will be implemented from Nov. 14th. The children born after 31-3-2006 will be benefitted by the scheme. The children born in the families of below the poverty line will get the facilty of Rs. 10 thousand. Two girl babies will be competent to obtain the amount each Rs. 10,000.The Chief Minister of Karnataka Mr. Kumaraswamy will present the scheme through inauguration on 14th, the children day.

The concerned department officials have to select each 10 girl babies from each thaluks . The parents who are entitled to obtain the benefit should submit the details about the birth of the girl within one month to the Child welfare office through the “Anganavadi” workers and women welfare department supervisors. The parents should enclose their photos along with the photo of the girl baby. They should submit the birth certificate along with the application. The BPL card provided by the food and civil supplies department should also be enclosed,., The mother or father of the child is abided to follow the family planning and they are abided to restrict the number of children to three only.

The child comes under the scheme should be compulsorily be vaccinated. The child should be sent to “Anganavadis” tll 6 years of age. The child in future course is competent to get other facilities like insurance, scholarship etc; provided the child should be sent to the schools recognized by the education department. The child should complete 8th standard to get the amount along with the interest. The child should not be engaged in child labour, which is conditional.
