DIES OF ELECTROCUTION;

A person doing electrification work in a house died of electrocution yesterday at Balele.

A youth Siraj was working with three others at a house at Balele yesterday. They were giving electricity connection to a house. Siraj came in contact with the live wire and fell unconscious. He was shifted to an Ashram hospital at Ponnampet all in vain. Siraj did not respond to medication and died of electrocution.

People staged a protest in front of the hospital and alleged that they did not inform police of the accident. They also spat fire at the contractor who did not turn up inspite of the accident.

Police shifted the body to the Gonicoppal hospital and conducted autopsy.
