MUSICAL FOUNTAIN T O RAJASEAT

Madikeri Dec. 14 Rajaseat, the main attractive garden for tourists in Madkeri will now be facilitated with musical fountain. The Horticultural department has got sanction of Rs. 35 lakh from the Govt. for the project.

The technical work is already commenced. The BNA technology of consulting ltd; Bangalore has started the fountain work. The department is constructing the fountain pond and controle room.The proposed fountain is bigger than the musical fountain installed at K.R.S. Vrindavan Gardens.The fountain dances according to the music prepared in seven packages. Every day different packages will be used. The songs are composed in Karnataka music, folk music, Hindi, modern pop music and also the special Kodava songs.

Another specialty is the playing of devotional song on cauvery in one package and the song on late Field Marshal Cariappa’s march. On the special days like January 26th, August 15th, the patriotic songs will be played.. The project will be completed during the monh of March.

Other than this the Rajaseat garden will be developed attractive lights during nights. Rs. 1.5 lakh is sancationed. Amphitheatre type arrangement at Rs. 4lakh,the new granite stone chairs and the fencing at Rs. 3.5 lakh are the other projects. Th e works will be ready by March or April 2007 during the next horticultural show-said the department officailas C.K.Medappa,Dr. S.Anand and suma.
