COWS SAVED:LORRY SEIZED

The Siddapur Police have seized a lorry carrying 32 cows. These cows are rescued and are being shifted to Pinjarpole Cow Centre at Mysore. The police have arrested the Lorry driver K.S..Saji and cleaner M.G.Jorge The lorry belong to Mustafa of Kerala.The main accused Rashik who is facing charges of cow slaughter has been absconding.

Siddapur polce S.I. Shriramareddy, Papaiah and others conducted the raid.

WORST ROADS:NEGLECTED THALUK

The South kodagu people are disgusted with the present lethargic attitude of the public representatives and the Govt. The whole Virajpet thaluk has become the area of pot holes, damaged roads, neglected in the overall development. The tribes and the local kodava Community dwell in large number in Virajpet thaluk. But, the Govr.t machinery is stubborn in hearing the grievances of these local people.

The local leaders explained this to the press with the vast factual evidences.The planter from Kutta P.M.Aiyanna told since 5 years no public representative has responded to repair the bad conditions of the village roads. The PWD officials have become almost idle. For the namesake, the department started work exactly during rainy season. The materials and the works done are spoiled due to heavy rain and the sanctions are not materialized..

The road from Gonikoppal to Kutta joins the border kerala road through Manandavadi. This is the interstate road also. Further, the main approach road starts from here to Nagarahole games Sanctuary. Daily hundreds of tourists travel in this road only. But , the administrators does not bother about the appeals, memorandums extc; Even the tiger menace in these areas have created fear to move free in these areas.

The residents warned the administrators to respond to their grievances. Otherwise, they will start agitation from Aug. 15th to meet their demands.
